Ads not showing impressions/ clicks

The ppc campaign of one of my clients is neither showing any impressions or clicks. I used the traffic estimator tool to shortlist the keywords and then divided it into proper Adgroups.

I did increase the bids, changed the daily budget, added few more keywords but still i do not see any impressions at all.

I have targeted the ad in two countries a) Target country b) my country. The credit card also shows valid.

The ads are simply not appearing. I have also tried out the budget optimizer but to no avail.

I got in touch with Google Adwords team and they could only sent me a typical answer to the following unasked questions :

1) I've just created an ad and can't see it yet.
2) I've seen my ad before, but I can't anymore.
3) My ad is running and accruing statistics, but I've never been able to
see it.

I had created the ad 10 days back. Have never seen it running for any of the keywords and neither it is accruing any statistics.

Please help me on this.

Thanks in advance

Triple check that you haven't done anything really dumb like suspending the campaign.

I think this could be a case of your ads not yet being approved. You should ask Google that they check if there is a problem with your ads. Ask them specifically if they have gone through the approval process or not.

Lately, I have been seeing ad approval take longer than a week for some of my clients.

It is also possible that your keywords simply receive no traffic. Are you sure that the keywords you have chosen are keywords that do receive traffic?

Are you advertising in Search or Content or both?

Content is taking a long time for approval these days.

Also the quality score for most of the keywords is good. In many cases it is great with 10/10.
