In addition... I, of course, have been keeping track of my Adwords account and it seems to be working just fine... showing clicks in line with what I usually see... Again...Thanks - saxman

Are your organics showing up? Is it just AdWords that's not working, or *all* of your visits and pageviews?

Organics are showing up just fine... Its when I go to specifically check the Adwords Groups and since March 25th the results are flatlined at 0. Have you heard of anyone else with this problem? Thanks - saxman

All my traffic from Adwords between 24 March to 30th March shows as 'Direct Traffic' From another thread: Google recently did some updating for tying AdWords and analatics accounts together. Here's the G help file on checking to make sure they are linked: [google.com...] |

I have three analytics accounts setup underneath my one Login account. Until March 25th my analytics profiles had no problem recording my Adwords data no matter what "account" it was in (account #1, account #2, account #3) because they are all under the same login. BTW - Thanks Seb7 for the link. I doubled checked everything and my analytics and adwords account are still linked together. One consistancy I have noticed is that Analytics has not recorded any Adwords data since the 25th in any account other than "account #1". For the others in "Account #2" and "Account #3" I have the data that was recorded before March 25th, but after the 25th everything reads "0" I'm stumped? Anyone have any idea of what G updated on the 24th that Seb7 mentioned? Thanks - saxman

Are they three separate AdWords accounts as well? I don't think you can have AdWords linked to more than AdWords account (or vice versa) can you?

no... they are all under 1 main account... if you look at the top right of your analytics dashboard... there should be a pulldown for different accounts to the top left there is a pulldown for my multiple profiles... I set up multiple accounts (1,2,and 3) underneath my 1 main account. Think of accounts 1,2, and 3 as "sub"-accounts as they are all underneath my one main account. Each account only allows up to 100 different profiles, therefore I added new "Sub"-accounts when I readched 100. This hasen't been a problem until March 25th when analytics suddenly stopped recording data.

(I mistyped in the above - should have been "Adwords linked to more than one Analytics account") It sounds like you are trying to use one AdWords account tied to multiple Analytics accounts. I don't think you can do that. If you could before, you can't now. Here's an excerpt from the announcement last month: | Please remember that you can only link one AdWords account to one Analytics account. If the Analytics account you wish to link to is not available, it is possible this Analytics account is already linked to another AdWords account. |

This same situation happened to my analytics account also. On 3/25/09 all adwords data stopped showing up completely in analytics. I was getting data for over a year with this setup until 3/25. I am trying to tweak settings to see what the cause is, but if anyone else figures it out please post solution. Thanks

I finally ended up setting up a new account in my _root analytics account as I think that Adwords and Analytics accounts now can only be connected that way. It seems to be working fine with my new account, but I ended up loosing a weeks worth of stats :(

I believe I figured this out. My account did not have "Apply Cost Data" selected to "yes" . I am not sure how it got changed, since I only have access, but that seems to have fixed it. Ref [google.com...]

I only seem to have the "Apply Cost Data" checkbox in my _root analytics account. It doesn't even show up in my other two accounts in my dropdown menu... any ideas? Thanks

through MCC I've had two accounts linked to one analytics account for the past 6 months - we are a single business with a massive PPC campaign - we had to have two accounts set up on MCC as we had so many campaigns / ad groups - google can link them if you ask nicely ;). The problem is that google chnaged the way it imports data into analytics for security reasons. You have to have cost data applied and if you do have more than account linked ot one analytics account you'll probably have to ask your google rep to do it for you - they were meant to send out an email about it to everyone it affected but a lot of people didn't get the email (myself included)
