Tracking info@ emails using analytics

Hello all,

I think I have an idea on how to track emails such as info@abcdefgh.com but wouldn't mind some confirmation here.

I already have analytics code on a "contact us" page. When someone clicks on "submit form" once they've filled out their query, we can track that.

However if there is an email link such as info@abcdefgh.com, I assume I would have to add some type of code to this email address, and possibly set up a goal or funnel to track how many people clicked on this as opposed to filling in a "contact us" form.

Leaving aside the idea of a "contact us" form and an info@abcdefgh.com email address being on the same page for a moment...
