This is new to me. The AdWords ads are decorated with a vertical line of double holiday candles. The image is here:

I've only seen it on a single search so far... and not a holiday related search.

It *really* calls attention to the ads like I've never seen before.

They have been doing it for three years now during the holiday season.

Searches that are hanukah, Kwanzaa, christmas, related return these types of special side bars.

This wasn't holiday related at all. 2 word: "(industry) marketing"

I've seen Christmas ornaments on a search term that has nothing to do with any holiday--"k9 ________"

They should do more of that type of things. The flag for the 4th of July,
Turkey for Thanksgiving, pick and shovel for Labor Day etc, etc.

Is there a honorary day for computers or the Internet?...KF
