Need help to solve this problem

 5:11 am on Nov 20, 2007 (gmt 0)

I have started PPC campaign for one of my site, and i have created different ads groups by targeting categories of products. Now my doubt is when i see the impression is shows around 400 per day but when i check weather ad is showing or not than every time i see the msg NO and it display some error msg like
"The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads.
There are several possible reasons your ad isn't showing for this keyword, such as: " or " No
Although your ad is showing, its rank is not high enough to place it on the first page of search results. "

even if my avg ad position is less than 9 or 8. i had chat with google online help and they told that our engineer will fix the problem but no improvement in last 3 days.

i m getting impression but no clicks are there on my ads. i have changed my bidding option from budget optimizer to set maximum limit. but no improvement is there. i have sound knowledge on keyword research and on site optimization.

looking for some suggestion or help

Thanks in advance

In campaign settings:

Delivery method: select Accelerated (reduce your budget)
Keyword Bidding: Maximum CPC bidding
Position preference: Uncheck

Also, check language and country settings (please don't get offended if I mention something so obvious to you).

The should be fine by default.

Then, pause your campaign for a minute or so, and then resume it. Leave it for 10 minutes or more and then use Google AdWords ad preview tool [adwords.google.com] to see if your ad is showing. Since you are receiving impressions you should see it, if not on first, then on second or other search result page.

In a case you see it on the first page, each time after you refresh you ad preview tool, simply wait to see if you will receive any clicks.

In a case you see it on a second or lower page, try increasing your bids just so you go higher to see if you would receive any clicks (sooner).

If you are not able to locate your ad with Google AdWords preview tool on any page, then there may be some technical problem.

With Google AdWords ad preview tool, be sure you set it with country/language/Google_domain settings that match your campaign’s settings.

I have done as instructed by you, but still no clicks there, i have my daily budget put $5 as a beginners and some of the keywords CPC is nearly $0.8 or so. What do u think? this might be one of the reason. what should i do now?

I really don’t want to push you into something you don't like, but you'd need something like at least $50 a day in order to expect Google show your ads to some degree.

One thing before you change your budget is to go to reports and pick the one that shows “impression share”, including all related measures. That kind of report will show you how much of impression share you’ve lost, if any. It will also tell you if the loss was budget related.

There is actually a keyword stautus that is not well known to most AdWords Users.

The keyword status is called "suspended"

In short, this means that there is not enough traffic in the entire Network for the keyword to trigger. The traffic is simply not there for the keyword to show. I have talked to a few people about this, it is very unlikely that the keyword would be placed back to be bid on, UNLESS, over an unknown period of time, that keyword begins to get larger amounts of search traffic.

Poor excuse, but the reason I got is that "there is not enough room on Google's servers to host unused/searched keywords" LOL. I think they have some room?

There are a few other posts on Suspended Keyword Status in the Google Forums.

What keywords are you bidding on? Can you shoot some examples?
If you get in touch with a Google rep, they might be able to tell you why, mine did.

I have to disagree with smallcompany's suggestion to raise your budget to $50. You should still get impressions even with a $5 budget, until that budget is exhausted. I have found overall budget size to have no impact and I generally start with a 5-10$ a day budget for untested campaigns with no problem.

thanks for the reply, here is update of my adwords account
- I have add one more ads group and separate each related keywords and put it into same ads groups
- increase bid per keyword
- edit advert for each ad groups
- increase daily budget.

Impression is increased but still problem is same, i cant see ad when check by google ads diagnosis tool

"The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads.
There are several possible reasons your ad isn't showing for this keyword, such as: " or " No
Although your ad is showing, its rank is not high enough to place it on the first page of search results. "

I got 2 clicks last week, that it.
