Hi Whiplashblue, im seeing exactly the same thing.. Primarily on the content network for my accounts, but it seems to be the same problem. Previously it always choose a keyword destination url (the one it deemed most relevant to the ad group) and used that for all content clicks. Over the last few days the advert destination url has started being used, until last night (26th) when a very large proportion 30%-50% of all my traffic was coming in this way. I have been in contact with our Google rep and am waiting to hear back from him. Personally i think we should get a discount on these clicks as they are not going to the intended optimized landing pages. [edited by: Malako at 9:58 am (utc) on July 27, 2007]

This is happening big time for me too. Same pattern, started slowly on 7/24. On 7/26 around noon PST it got drastically worse. Been spending all day trying to figure it out. It seems like on the content network, Google started using the Ad Destination URL instead of the Keyword Destination URL. Huge problem for me. I've talked to the reps. They are confused themselves.

Our rep said they had started rolling out the bug fix last night (Monday, July 30th). This morning it looks to be 90% back to normal for us.

My google rep says the fix went out to all their servers last night. We're reactivating content network ads now.
