Anyone seeing Content delivery come to a full stop?

Our ads stopped serving suddenly around 10:30 pm EST last night. It's not a QS hit because the keywords are all marked as great and our search rankings are still top notch. It's like we were opted out of content suddenly. Anyone else see this?

Yes, for one of our ad groups (the one with the most impressions) on 7/1 we had zero impressions on the Content network all of a sudden.

Anyone else seeing this because I don't understand it - all the keywords have Great or OK quality scores (mostly Great).

On the publisher side since the 1st I have noticed many of our advertisers that have been serving ads on our sites for 4 years now have campaigns missing. I wonder if Google is having a problem?

I have seen this bug before, i just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. In the past it took a full day to sort itself out

After the last QS update, content impressions seem way too low. Must be the anti arbitrage effect. No easy and quick traffic for new ads. This seems to be the G way.

Too much tightening .. they must have 'crashed' parts of the system..

On the adsense side, I'm seeing a tremendous decline in EPC since july 1. This likely means a combination of less publisher's ads and therefore less competition for space.

Impressions and revenue were down this morning and I saw several pages (on the AdSense side) that weren't showing ads for a while (West Coast, U.S.). But all seemed to be back towards "normal" by late morning.

A campaign that has been delivering content clicks at about 3000 per day for the last 2 years suddenly quit serving any ads.

Yesterday it received 80 impressions and one click and today it received none.

At the same time, another campaign that has never served more than 1-20 content clicks per day sent me 700 today- at quite a cPC.

Adwords is a joke...it literally needs babysat everyday if not hourly to make sure that G hasn't decided to mess with things.

I seriously hope this is a glitch.

My QS remain unchanged...

Yes I have seen this on one of my clients account's.
Just like you the QS has not changed since the Keywords are all still active for search and at the regular cpc not the $10 one that you get hit with when the QS bug bites.

Anyone else seeing this?

Joe

I just looked back and this all occurred on 7/1.

It happened to multiple campaigns of mine.

Once again, looks like Google changed something and told no one.

Don't change anything and sit tight. I have been on the phone with G. I am waiting for a responce from technical. It has all the earmarks of a glitch.

Looks like its definately a glitch. This is what has been sent to me:

Thank you for your phone call today regarding your ads ceasing to show on
the content network. I'm writing to let you know that I have escalated
this issue to our technical team. They're currently investigating the
situation, and we'll contact you as soon as we've found a resolution. We
thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Today. Content impressions stopped on one of my longest running campaigns.

If this is a glitch, they better fix it fast.

I have a ticket into support, as it's a holiday I'm not expecting a response for a bit...

My ads have still not shown since 07-01.

I looked back and some days this ad was receiving 2-3 million impressions per DAY and now nothing.

I'm sorry, but that's not competition.

I've seen 4-5 other forums where people are talking about this. Either it's a glitch or another "slap" unannounced.

I was a glitch! I would write G if your ads still aren't showing.

Hello,

Thank you for your email regarding the ad group '*****' receiving only
a few impressions on July 1. We've identified a known technical issue
affecting a limited number of accounts that has caused some ads to stop
showing on the content network. Our engineers are currently working to
solve the problem and hope to reach a resolution shortly.

I reviewed your account this morning and it looks like yesterday and today
'*****' has been receiving more impressions. Thank you for your
understanding and patience while we address this issue.

We look forward to providing you with the most effective advertising
available.

Sincerely,

Clara V.
The Google AdWords Team

Just to confirm - got this response from Google today that it was a glitch. My impressions by yesterday were about back to normal for the Content campaign that went to 0 impressions.

Here's the response:

Thank you for your email. I understand that you noticed a drop in impressions in your '#*$!#*$!XX' ad group earlier this week. This was actually the result of a known technical issue that happened earlier this week. I am happy to report that the issue you reported has now be resolved by our engineering team.

Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
