Adwords higher level of service
.... three person management team

hi,

the google adwords team (UK) have e-mailed me to say that "based on your AdWords advertising history and performance, you are eligible for a higher level of service. You now have a three person management team to support and guide you in the management of your accounts"

I am very chuffed with this...and of course thanked them :)... but not sure how to respond and wondered if any of you have also been offered this service and what benefits you have seen (if any)?

However, what surprised me most about this offer is that my client list is very small and they don't spend a fortune either. Is this level of service not put aside for the ‘big spenders’?

If you cross a certain spend threshold and they find that your account meets a few other qualifications, Google will offer you this dedicated support. It's helpful. The main benefits are: 1) you don't have to call the really aggravating 866 number or go through the almost as aggravating general-support chat/email to get something simple done or to have a question answered; 2) you can request that your support team help improve your account performance, which they'll do by offering you free campaign optimizations (often they'll pitch this to you without asking, but if they haven't done so, you should definitely ask if they'll optimize a campaign for you; though they don't always show you improvement, quite often they do), and; 3) from time to time they'll offer you an opportunity to participate in certain Betas, which can be beneficial. There are other advantages that aren't coming to mind right now, but those are the main ones from my perspective.

Dedicated support is a good thing, especially since it's so tough to get their general support team to help you if you don't have dedicated. Take advantage of it.

I will now definitely give the management team a call and request some help, especially with the optimisation you have mentioned.
