Dunno about AdWords, but the AdSense site is giving me "Sorry, service is currently not available. Please try again later".
Also having problems accessing Adwords today - very sluggish, and lots of those billing info not available messages (even though I'm not actually trying to access billing info)
Extremely slow. At times accessible.
Wasnt there some advance down time notice , i read that in adwords few days back , not fully sure about timings
I don't think that was today - besides there'd probably be the usual multilingual downtime message if this was scheduled.

Thanks everyone, for the info. Engineering has been all over this as you'd expect - and things should be returning to normal for you soon, if they have not already.

Also, can't connect with Firefox, but with IE6.
It says I'm blocking cookies but I'm not.
Also specifically added Google cookies..

Clearing all cookies did the trick for me. I seemed to be getting time outs on the login page before I tried that.

Thanks for bringing that up, vordmeister - it's a very good point.
It is quite often the case that if one has experienced an issue at one point, and then continues to experience it after it has been reported as 'resolved', that clearing cache and cookies will clear things up.
(Little known tip: I also unplug my computer before re-booting and polish the blades of the plug with very fine steel wool. That always seems to make things work better.) ;)
I will keep my ear to the ground - and consult with the tech folks - to see if I hear of residual login issues still at work.
