Why can't I see my ads?
I used to be able to

I run a number of campaigns and check their performance on a fairly frequent basis. One of these campaigns has always performed quite well unitil the last few weeks or so. I can see from other posts that things have changed in the Adwords world and so have been monitoring more closely. I increased the cost per click yesterday and have noticed an increase in clicks however whenever I input the phrase I NEVER see my ads so where are they appearing? The impression seem normal(ish) but they don't appear for me.

My other campaigns are working well and I can see those ads when I use the relevent keywords.

Any ideas?

Depends on the size of your budget - it wont show your ad every time. You're bidding for position WHEN you get shown, not for every search.

I know how the process works and don't expect to see my ad every time but I NEVER see it, but am still apparently achieving clicks.

Have you tried searching the same keyword over and over i.e. refreshing the search/screen?

Hi,

Or setting your max serach results to 100 and looking waaaaaaaaaaaay down the ads list to see if you are getting a poor position when you happen to be doing the search?

I am actually seeing something similar and think its more than just the basic setup problems.

Seems to apply particularly to Broad match terms, and on some of mine I dont even appear for the term itself. Of course ill now try adding the exact match but the broad matching terms certainly dont work the same way that they used to.

I think there may be a bug or something as the ad diagnostic tool says its under budget despite a huge budget being set on the campaign so ill follow it up but id love to hear from anyone seeing the same thing?
