Does Google Adsense have a new layout?

I have just turned my display Adsense on after 1 month or so off due to blog customization. However, when I turned on the Ads display, I found a slightly different layout in the Ads. There's a dark grey hover background appears even though I set my Ads background into white. There is also a tiny blue square on top left with this 300x250 sign when I use a medium rectangle (300x250) ads.. Does anyone here experience similar problem? or is it just me? This grey hover background is so disturbing and looks so bad in my white background template but I have no idea what to do. Here is a snapshot samplehttps://picasaweb.google.com/107097391220052701847/April192014?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCN3WtdX597Tcfw&feat=directlink
any solution to fix this problem will be highly appreciated. thank you :))

Google is constantly experimenting with text ads. Looks like a glitch but who knows?. What browser are you using?

That's the overlay for the Google Publisher Toolbar in Chrome. That allows you to block ads you don't like right from your browser. If you set the extension to no overlay, it goes away.

If you click on the button in the chrome toolbar, there's a switch to turn it off.
