Yep, not overly keen right now, need to explore it a bit more however I do like the earnings' comparisons.
2:55 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
Same thoughts as you about it. Not sure, but that is the same with anything new.
Strange thing is, I look after two accounts, and only one has been asked to change to the new look. I guess it is migrating throughout the system.
added: I have reverted back to the old style. I could not see what my CTR was.

It'll get there. I've had that as a "beta tester" for a couple of months now, and now that it's rolled out, I can switch back. Which I did, but I'm sure I'll be dragged back into it.
Basically it looks like the app, but it still doesn't give me what I need to know on the first page, while giving me things I don't need (country? all my stuff is US based only).
I pushed hard for a configurable dashboard that would let us put the metrics important to us on it (like in Google Analytics) but I doubt they'll ever go that far.
3:48 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
The only thing I did like was the comparisons on the earnings. Nothing else.
4:26 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
I have one word for it: sucks
5:11 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
I like the "today so far" and "yesterday" comparison of earnings. That is much better than it used to be.
I wish that the "Page views" and "RPM" had a similar comparison. Unfortunately, they appear to be only "today so far".
It would also be nice to have "last seven days" vs "previous seven days" on the home. I did use the weekly reporting feature on the previous incarnation of the home page.
The scorecard stuff is the same info, but arranged differently.
The other stats on there aren't likely to change on a day to day basis, so while interesting I don't know why they put them on the home page.
It did get me to take a look at the "top platforms" report where I learned that my RPM for tablets is about 3 times higher than my RPM for "desktop". An interesting insight, but one that doesn't need daily monitoring.

What would? As one of my bosses said to me "no-one spends the last few moments on their deathbed wishing they had spent more time at work". Replace at work with checking adsense stats?

I actually enjoy checking my adsense stats.

I have been using the new look home page for about a month now and quite happy with it.
One thing I just noticed they added Direct Campaigns tab underneath Experiments.
Anyone know what Direct Campaigns are? I imagine its something to do with Adwords.
11:33 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
not a fan. clicks?
also, too much white space on the page. a little less space and a little better design and everything there could be above the fold, making it an actual dashboard.
11:43 pm on Nov 19, 2013 (gmt 0)
I wonder how long before this is a forced update?
12:30 am on Nov 20, 2013 (gmt 0)
The upgrade is nice.
But from my point of view is missing one of the most important data feature, the number of Clicks.
It has the Page Views the Total Earnings and the RPM.
It's very important, unless for me, to have a quick view to the Clicks, the Page CTR and the CPC.
That's essential to know if the site is targeted by click bombers or if there's something unusual, like a click with a high CPC, or the opposite, a lot of clicks with a low CPC.

Too much whitespace

Another product that's in beta. I'm off season and didn't sign up for it, so I don't know much about it, but it has to do with publishers (maybe of a certain traffic level) being able to set a daily price for a certain percentage of impressions for a specific advertiser who inquires. But again, that's just how it was more or less described, no guarantees that's how it actually works.
We'll probably all be forced into the new interface at some point; they do say they're still working on it (and also the Scorecard)
5:05 pm on Nov 20, 2013 (gmt 0)
More obfuscation of simple data with pseudo-information and fancy-pants meaningless graphics. More is less.
6:17 pm on Nov 20, 2013 (gmt 0)
I agree that it needs to show the CTR. That, number of pageviews, EPC and RPM are what I like to see first thing when I sign in. I do like the comparisons to prevous time frames, though.
7:19 pm on Nov 20, 2013 (gmt 0)
From long experience of anything "new" with AdSense, I didn't even bother looking and said "Nyet" straight off.
These comments once again confirm that stance. No doubt it will eventually become compulsory.
8:22 pm on Nov 23, 2013 (gmt 0)
With the new page, I find seeing immediately how bad things are this month compared to the previous bad month depressing, so I reverted back. I don't need this thrown in my face.
5:50 am on Nov 24, 2013 (gmt 0)
Am I the only one enjoying the new page? I'm used to the mobile version of Adsense however, and this page shows exactly what's on the mobile version. The first few days it was rough around the edges, but it's gotten better.
3:12 am on Dec 4, 2013 (gmt 0)
I'd like to see Messages on the main interface. How will I know i receive new messages? Will it appear in notification?
4:12 pm on Dec 4, 2013 (gmt 0)
I initially like the "compared to the same day last month" feature but I'm finding it to inaccurate to use for two reasons:
1) It doesn't take into account that last month started on a weekday but this month started on a weekend, so this month looks worse by comparison. It would be more useful to have a comparison to the last 28 days in that case.
2) If today just started it will still compare to the full day last month. This is especially noticeable at the beginning of the month when an entire days worth of revenue can have drastic effects on the percentage.
5:13 pm on Dec 4, 2013 (gmt 0)
Everyone wants different comparisons, and ideally they should let us set our own. Which I suggested, but I was told it would make it too confusing for the users.

Do they really think AdSense publishers are that tech challenged?
6:39 pm on Dec 4, 2013 (gmt 0)
I'm just reporting what I was told.

I saw it. Looked for navigation so I could do my business. Didn't see the navigation. Clicked the link to switch to the classic version. Done. When I have time I'll take a second look. But for now, my initial impression is that it's not an improvement.
Changes should make things easier to do. Links to common tasks should be immediately at hand. For me, those two basic requirements were not met.
11:02 am on Dec 5, 2013 (gmt 0)
Its missing 2 important things - the CTR and CPC. With those included it would be great.
