Here we are, July 1st and I'm trying to be optimistic. I hope this month brings a much needed upswing!

@zarathustra2011

Do you mean that you removed some of your sites from "allowed sites" in your adsense account?
Or did you remove adsense codes from within those couple of sites?

Saturday is getting off to a big start. It's usually a slow day.

Summer slump here. (Which is pretty much to be expected for my topic as people head for the beach.)

Should have better rephrased it - I meant I blocked the url's of a few generic and irrelevant advertisers.
Definitely an improvement on yesterday, but I'm still having these periods of several hours, when the stats just don't seem to move.

Today my US CPC has dropped to $0.15 ? What's going on?

All I know is, some days:

CTR up, EPC down
CTR down, EPC up
CTR down, EPC down
CTR up, EPC up

It all averages out over a month. The only long term static decline I know of, is the affect of Google's Zoo.

From low day yesterday to very high earning today. Very strange.

Back to average earnings today. Wish this month did balance out in the end, but I know it's going to be my worst month for some years.

Yesterday earnings ended up 10x more than the day before. Like zarathustra2011, it's not going to be enough to save the month from being one of the worst ever. RIP July 2013, hello August.

Don't know about you Play_Bach, but after yesterday's recovery, I have virtually no page views, and zero clicks, three hours into the day. Back to nonsense reporting.

Just 2 words for summer 2013 revenues, very happy!

@zarathustra2011

I'm in the SF Bay Area and it's not quite 4am here. Most of my traffic is USA, so it's not unusual that AdSense reports won't show much activity for a few more hours. It used to be I'd get clicks recorded all day and night, but then something changed. Now from midnight until well into the next day I might see only a handful of clicks reported and that's it until later that night (if I'm lucky that is...)

Hilarious. No sooner than I post above about reports being dead than a superclick comes in.

You're up late aren't you! Congrats on the superclick, that's what I need right now! 4 hours have passed and I have one click. Seriously messed up reporting. Hoping it will catch up soon.

Yesterday was a brilliant 8/10 day. Today is trending towards a possible 8/10 to 10/10 day. I'm juiced!

Looking terrible all day, then in the past half hour, earnings jump 400%. Low on clicks, but CTR very high. If it continues today will turn out well.

Having the third highest earnings day all month so far with only 1/3 average page views and a half day still to go. Sure AdSense, whatever you say.

Despite ridiculous reporting, an average day yesterday and a good start to today, though experience tells me that means nothing until the day is done.

Yesterday ended as the second highest earnings day all month. No reason why that I can see. Won't be enough to save the month from being a disaster, but nice to see it moving in the right direction again. Hope it lasts.

We have seen the new ads they started displaying over the weekend, show images on the ads, little flashing images and also single link units that open up. Also noticed we now can opt out on the user based ads and show more content relevant based ads (in my opinion help) the adsense program work bet.

Adsense is now faced with ad blindness, and some browsers offering to turn off ads.

Flying today, but too little too late to save July. Just hope the end of July is a sign of things to come in August.

Yesterday ended as bad as it started. Today looks no better. What is going on? I never thought July could end worse than June, but here we go.

Yesterday was not as bad as I expected it to be, specially after a complete migration of my strongest site.

Still about to see today

Not sure what's happening but CTR is almost non-existent. People suddenly stopped clicking, funny stuff.

Are your ads matching your content?

Like i mentioned above google adsense has opened up some options for publishers, such as turning off interest based ads. I prefer the IB ads off because if my site is about pretty kitties, and the ads are showing hello kitty ads, not liky my visitors will click them.

Yes in theory having the whole bowl bid up your ctr is nice, but if only a little bit of those ads get clicked.

Past 3 days have been very high, double our normal earnings. Today looks like it'll be the highest earning day in 2 years.

I'm always reserved when it comes to things like this, especially towards the end of the month. Sometimes we see a slump the first week of a month, and earnings may tank on Aug 1.

Also, it may or may not be related to outside issues in our case. I made layout changes 4 days ago. As I usually do, I'll wait a couple of weeks to see if this is a real trend or a momentary spike before I either sing joyfully from the roof tops or cry into a beer.

Just passed yesterday's earnings with twelve hours still to go. Will need an amazing today and tomorrow to get over the 50% drop from June. Not counting on it... Hello August.
