Looks like they rolled out arrows on 160x600. Was my best performing ad unit and now CTR has dropped to near nothing. Up to yesterday only saw arrows when one or two ads were in the 160x600. Now they show when there are five ads and it looks like crap.

HuskyPup, thank you. I might be noob in this forum, yet not noob working with adsense. I have never seen such huge revenue nose-dive in January/February (cpc, cpm) and on top of that they introduce arrows to lower remaining revenue factor - ctr. it is really sad to get back to what i make in 2008. Sorry for my English.

| Ah, declining revenue! Actually I'd love to earn what I did in 2008, it was at least 500% more and don't even mention 2006!

January was all-time 10-year monthly high for me. February was #2. Too soon to say for March, but looking good, given it is a Friday. .

After a very good December and even better January, past February took a rest. Even that a good month comparing past years. We will see March.

| Agree fully and I can't bear thinking about 2003, 2004, 2005. One good month now = a very lousy day back then. I can happily live with the reduced CTR, I can happily live with the slightly reduced EPC, I have to live with the rampaging $A which has halved my EPC for quite a long while now, but can someone please make me a favour? Shoot that #$%^&* Panda! High quality web sites, written entirely for the intended audience before AdSense or even Google were invented, and presumably Mr. Panda doesn't agree. I suppose the 85,000+ back links from quality sites [Universities, colleges, military, even NASA] must have it all wrong. Grrr... Actually it's the insult to my ego which hurts more than the money. Things are looking up for us since mid-February, when we finally gave up on the experiments we were doing with other ad networks and with DFP. It seems that Adsense really is the best for our site right now--and Adsense placed directly performs much better on our site than Adsense delivered through DFP, for some reason--so it's time to set aside the experimentation for a while.

| I've found that delivering ads through dfp slows page loading, which negatively affects CTR.

Ahhh.... Having a very low day, and just saw that the "on hover detail appearing" ads are all over large leaderbords and rectangles. Only one ad per unit. So all I see is 2-4 word extra large title and an arrow, when I hover it the description and the link show up in a fancy way... Text ad CTR is ok but CPC is way down...

My daily clicks is half of what it was in December. I've been hit by Panda which is one issue, but on top of that my CTR has dropped by 1% in response to me shifting an ad (hoping to calm the panda bear), and crappy ads showing. We will lose our house over this :( Adsense was my full time income.

Traffic and pageviews were well above Sunday expectations, however, due to the ridiculously low CTR/EPC, revenue was 56% of Christmas Eve - my poorest earning day of the year. Usually! March 1 & 2 were actually pretty good - what happened?
