Friday Feb 1 was a great day. Today, the ad serving system is pushing a lot more rich media ads than usual and as a result the CTR is much lower than usual.

My main traffic is from South America and Central America. 95% of it.
And they don't care about the Superbowl.
However, February is the month that Google:
1. Makes new experiments.
2. Present new features on Adsense (or start preparing them).
3. New rules on algorithmic changes on its search engine.
4. Low budget from advertisers (which I find it odd, since in the last couple of years, Latin America started to invest on online advertisement).
5. Google's dog ate its homework. (any excuse for paying less is valid). :P

@avalon37 Tests tests tests. How will Google know which ads are good, which are bad? What works, what fails? We are Google's guinea pigs. :P

I don't know if you are feeling this? In the past couple of days, my Adsense stats have gone crazy. AT the past 2 days, at the morning it goes well, then at the afternoon, visits and clicks get lower and lower (when it is usually the best part of the day), then at the night, the stats start working again normally.
Today, I feel a different trend. Awful day. And just a couple of hours ago, the numbers begin raising.

Huge day. Maybe some leftovers from yesterday.
Karkadan, everything you listed (apart from the dog and the homework) happens all year round. February is no different in that respect.

@Netmeg Well, at least in my experience, it has been 6 years out of 7 that Adsense stops working for me on February and half of March. From 100% capacity, it goes to 40 to 50%. It is a huge shift.
I don't know if it is related to the South American market.

Nice, big bounce-back from the USA overnight with loads of big fat juicy click values making it one of my best days of 2013 from the US with a 143.4% earnings v average:-)

Monday turned out to be a good day. Today seems promising, yet things have slowed considerably. I'll check again in a few hours for things to hopefully catch up.

Monday good. Yesterday bad. Impressions kept increasing but clicks/revenue died sometime yesterday morning.
10:27 am on Feb 6, 2013 (gmt 0)
A diabolical Tuesday, nothing less than 6-7 hours data loss for me. My logs and Google's stats are totally the opposite with Google reporting easily my lowest Page Views of the year.
Neither Page Views nor Clicks hardly registered between about UK time 10.00 until 16.30, no click dump nor PV dump was forthcoming and then the stats moved forward more or less as normal.
11:47 am on Feb 6, 2013 (gmt 0)
It was indeed a weak Tuesday! Visits up 36%, page views up 58% and clicks down by 62%. Not much revenue came from that mix.

Tuesday was my best day in nearly three weeks, go figure.
1:31 pm on Feb 6, 2013 (gmt 0)
Very poor day yesterday for both of the websites I manage; significant drop in CTR due to Google pushing image/rich media ads aggressively. Also, saw a HUGE drop in Interest Based ads which historically do the best for me.

I realize I am probably the only person in this forum with this problem but I mention it in case it is affecting anyone else.
I was looking into settings in my AdSense acct yesterday, setting up for a new domain and found that some ads had been disabled. No notice, if I hadn't been looking at the colors settings I would never know. The ads have been showing just fine, no idea how long they were "disabled". The reason: I had not configured any color for the visited links for custom search engines. I'm not using custom search engines.
Some of my ad configurations go back several years, I update the code when I add a new ad or make changes. I have no idea how long I had this disabled ad showing on my site without letting me know it was "disabled". It does explain some weirdness that wasn't making sense. Sneaky devils.

Kind of having an amazingly good start to February.

Same here...hope it continues.

We're sorry, some data in this report is delayed, please try again later. There's no impact to ad serving or payments.

Yep got the little red bar across the top.

No red bar, but slow/stuck day so far.

For some reason, after a few of weeks of unusually low revenues, things seem to be back to somewhat normal levels. I haven't done much different, although I did take Google's advice and replace a 250 x 250 ad with a 300 x 250 one which has been a good change. CTR has been fairly stable throughout, but CPC had dropped, espcially for the USA, and now has recovered fairly well.
11:36 pm on Feb 8, 2013 (gmt 0)
At first i thought it was a seasonal thing but not anymore. My CPC is at an all time low compared to 3 Jan/Feb ago. All numbers are rising yet CPC has crashed.

Is everyone making so much they fear banjaxing their earnings by posting?
For me everything seems to be so far behind these days that nothing makes sense until the following day. Sunday's tablet earnings were way off average at 18.9% and easily my worst tablet day of the year, PVs were normal for a Sunday.
6:38 pm on Feb 11, 2013 (gmt 0)
Things have been looking better, but today is off to a really slow start. I won't know a thing until tomorrow.
3:52 pm on Feb 12, 2013 (gmt 0)
Worst Monday in years!
4:01 pm on Feb 12, 2013 (gmt 0)
There's a "delayed data" apology on Adsense on the performance reports. This seems new.
7:38 pm on Feb 13, 2013 (gmt 0)
Yawn...enough said...hey, where did everybody go?
7:56 pm on Feb 13, 2013 (gmt 0)
I've been out in the snow with my Husky:-)
Much more fun with her than AdSense!
8:16 pm on Feb 13, 2013 (gmt 0)
That makes more sense than AdSense. Dunno about the snow jazz though, never actually seen it except for once briefly seeing melting flakes landing in Martin Place, Sydney back in 1959.
8:42 pm on Feb 13, 2013 (gmt 0)
I will send you some of mine.
2:04 am on Feb 14, 2013 (gmt 0)
Come to Colorado in the U.S. We have lots of snow, although not this year.
