You mean the ugly blue arrows that clash with my themes that now got grey/gray ? I didn't have the blue ones, the stuff performed better before they appeared about a week or two ago. I'm seeing the grey ones now and I must say the CTR is slightly better (10% or so), so while that might seem to be at first looks a winner, it's mostly the CPC that's gone up - and that has nothing to do with presentation of the ad. So: - I like the new CPC - keep it up! - I dislike the blue arrows with a vengeance - I'm partial to the grey arrows - waste of space IMHO and while it might give something positive for now, I doubt it'll last in the long run.

I only first saw them on my sites in the past couple days, but so far way up. Not enough time to determine that the arrows are the cause.

Having a large ad unit with 4 arrows for each text link ad looks really bad! And with 2 ads on a page, I feel myself looking to the right...that's what the arrows seem to want me to do.

Heh well, the best day of several months was followed by the worst day of several months, so I'm not counting on the arrows to do me a lot of good.

Since the arrows came out CTR has dropped by half a percent.

Hate the arrows. They are not helping at all.

When did the change roll out? I've seen a nice revenue bump in the last few days. If it's due to the arrows, great! They don't bother me, at least they don't blink or wiggle like some (banners) LOL

| A couple of months, but the arrows then were far far worse. Larger, and colors that made your eyes bleed. These arrows look better, but they are still not needed. | I've seen a nice revenue bump in the last few days. If it's due to the arrows, great! |
| It has nothing to do with the arrows. You do realize what time of year it is... a time where people are purchasing gifts for others. The arrows have little/no difference to the increase.

| Yes.. One arrow looks good (grey). I've seen an increase in earnings over the past few days, but, as Lame_Wolf suggests above it may be because we're in mid December.

They really are misleading. I saw one for the first time last week & clicked on the arrow thinking it would show me additional adds like it used to. 1 click for that advertiser from someone who had no interest in his ad. Didn't even wait for page load once I realized what I had done. Again, really misleading & a really bad idea from someone at Google.

I don't know what visitors to my site are seeing, but on all of my pages that I've checked I've only seen ONE ad with a large font and a HUGE arrow in a 336x280 ad block. Looks horrible. Too early to judge earnings yet. On some other sites I've seen as many as 3 ads in a 399x250 ad block. .

| Which is probably what the casual user would think too, until they wise up. Any gains in CTR will be short lived.

CTR has dropped since arrows (blue or gray) appeared. Looks really bad. How to we get rid of them?

I think they will be removed pretty quickly, or changed into something else. From what I read, a lot of users don't like them.

keyplyr, you cannot remove them. If you don't want arrows on your site, then remove adsense, simple as that. I don't like them either, but they are an improvement on the arrows they had the other month.

If these arrows are responsible for my increased CTR therefore earnings, I want to keep them, they look good on my sites, they blend in nicely.

| It won't last long, HP. Maybe till the January sales if you're lucky. ;) They do look better than those butt-ugly ones they had the other month, but I cannot see them lasting for long. Remember the < > arrows they had? I think the lastest arrows will have a shorter life than those.
