Hi Bddmed - how's it hanging? :-) It's been quite awhile since the stats were stuck, anyway they caught up at the end of the day and my pre-Thanksgiving Day earnings were 0.01p off my daily average .!.!.! Any bets on today's numbers?

Ouch UK, ouch ... Thursday would have been almost average for me except for the UK delivering a 30% EPC value, the lowest of the year. US earnings and EPC were almost average therefore cannot whinge but the UK, WTHH?

@eeek I don't know when it was exactly, but at least over a year ago, that I began noticing a shift in when my AdSense stats would update. Others here noticed it as well, updates kept getting pushed back further and further. Nowadays, it's not unusual for me to see my click count (if there is any!) begin to move around 11:00pm - the last hour of the day. Why the lag? Who knows, but it's been this way for awhile now. The idea that AdSense reports daily earnings daily I think may no longer hold true. From what I've seen in my own stats, it makes much more sense that AdSense is taking more than one day to calculate earnings, perhaps several.

| Sometimes it won't update for me for a few hours. Other times it will update every ten minutes, and that will happen for about 1.5 - 2 hours.

Tuesday was easily my best day of the month with a 150.4% earnings v November average with page views at 130.2% Interestingly US CTR was way down at 55.8% however EPC was way up at 200% ... I've never seen that before.

I'm sure that it takes longer to verify some clicks than others. I suspect it's kind of a rolling thing, where some clicks that don't fit a profile are "set aside" for a few hours or days so they can be looked into further. I have no evidence of that other than my own stats, and it's probably how I would do it if I were in charge.

> clicks that don't fit a profile are "set aside" for a few hours or days so they can be looked into further. I wonder how that's done. Do you think there are human reviews involved? With some two million AdSense publishers, it seems that would be unlikely, but maybe not.

| Yes, especially if your site is generating a large amount of traffic.

The "good" news (I guess...), is that these days I check my AdSense earnings a whole lot less than I did in the past. Took awhile for the impulse to wear off, but after countless days where nothing is moving, eventually even dimwits like me get the hint.

Only 2 million? I thought every high school kid on the planet had an account just for starters. Glad I never bet any money on it. Now how many of those 2 million are just scrapers leeching away at our income?
