i'm 900% below 2008 average
Do you mean you're earning 10% of 2008? If so join the club of many, not all, just many.
Overnight I had an excellent click dump especially from the USA again and some surprising USD 0.60+ ones from China...what the heck were they for?

Finally yesterday ended almost average. Today is all but dead so far.
5:27 pm on Sep 8, 2012 (gmt 0)
Today is like the lemming, running towards the cliff. Only an act of God will stop it from falling upon the jagged rocks below.
6:26 am on Sep 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Looks like some sort of intervention during the course of the night. EPC soared, and the lemmings were spared to live another day.
12:13 pm on Sep 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Hmmm, maintenance day and a lot lower USA page views than average plus US earnings half of Friday!
Everything else normal, some things never change on these days.
6:09 pm on Sep 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Dead yesterday, dead today...one OK day, then right back into the toilet.
7:08 pm on Sep 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Looking good today.
8:42 pm on Sep 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
@zarathustra2011, I'm happy for you...no really...happy...very. Can you spare a dime?
Today is still garbage, even for a Sunday.

They pay me in pound sterling I'm afraid JCKline. You can have a shilling if you like. ;)
Sunday ended very positively, though I noticed in the last hour of the day, no clicks (I always have clicks each hour). Then when we got to the start of Monday, from the first 50 page views, I got one superclick; more evidence that Adsense sometimes recalculates and makes revisions at a later time.

Yesterday (9th) was my highest day post-Penguin. Partially because of a higher-than-average RPM, and partially because some of my content is now beginning its peak season.
10:03 am on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
Sunday's CTR was way down on average at 66% across all countries for me, interestingly for the first time ever Canadian earnings are exceeding the UK after the first week.

12:54 pm on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
This is just like a classic post-maintenance performance for me...diabolical, CTR 50% of average so far today.
2:19 pm on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
The Adsengineers prolly found a bag of unprocessed clicks again, somewhere stuck in the clicks shredder.
Got clickdumped resulting in average revenue for this month.
Normal Adsense blackout today - business as usual - somehow get used to working in the dark.
3:31 pm on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
I'm assuming the pathetic UK performance today is seemingly because so many do not appear to be at work but celebrating the Olympics parade?
4:31 pm on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was pretty blah but today is shaping up quite nicely.
8:11 pm on Sep 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
Today is a slow crawl so far...nothing impressive as usual lately.
5:13 am on Sep 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
With some server downtime (not godaddy), low clicksense day.
Another site maintenance notification for the 22th sept on the dash.
It feels like driving with the freakin seatbelt light on.
But Ok, having Adsense is like having a car crash every day.
One gets used to that also.

No idea if the lucky streak will last, but Monday has been a really good day. It's on par with September 7th, which was my best day in many months.
1:03 pm on Sep 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday end up just slightly above above average earnings however traffic up 500% on one popular channel. I thought I was getting extra traffic from the GD outage but I haven't quite worked out why that specific channel yet since I would have thought there would have been a knock-on effect and there was not.
Interestingly uniques were 200%
1:36 pm on Sep 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was low, but logged in around 9 am and earnings are strong so far. Must have been dumped from yesterday.
4:23 pm on Sep 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was good enough, and I have more traffic now (I think it's because of the end of the summer, but who knows). I also de-optimized (from 3 to 2 ad units) my biggest site because I had "big" reductions of earnings when it was getting finalized, I think I'm going to start re-optimizing & publishing stuff.
La vie est belle.
2:28 am on Sep 12, 2012 (gmt 0)
Very good today. Yesterday was also okay.
10:01 am on Sep 12, 2012 (gmt 0)
Tuesday slightly above average earnings however overall EPC was down owing to lots of low value clicks however US/UK/CA/AU all ok. Actually had some JP clicks which doesn't happen that often.
11:45 am on Sep 12, 2012 (gmt 0)
Tuesday's been a very solid day.
1:28 pm on Sep 12, 2012 (gmt 0)
Tuesday's been a very solid day.
Yes, sir :)
2:32 am on Sep 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
Wow. Today Wednesday is really good. My CPC is way up.
6:05 am on Sep 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
And another solid day, with an hour left to go. September's shaping up well.
8:36 am on Sep 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
I "almost" love that expression where Adwords lingo crosses over to AdSense.
Publishers have "Earning per Click" - EPC
Advertisers have "Cost per Click" - CPC
As always, I'm open to correction.

As always, I'm open to correction.
I'm with you however it's AdSense itself that created this in the new interface...heavens knows why!
Wednesday was my best day since 17th July with the USA's and my Coppermine gallery's best days of 2012 with excellent EPCs.
9:51 am on Sep 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
USA and UK EPC is at a new time high this morning, and even India is dishing out 50 cent clicks, whereas normally I get pennies. No idea what's going on, but please continue doing maintenance!
