Do you have "New payments experience" upgrade? Until being upgraded I used to see finalized earnings late too...
BTW 3% was "shaved off" this month... more like a cut rather than a shave... $10 from 100000 accounts and there goes million extra bucks for that month :)

for all the previous months, i had around 1% cut.
During July, they have cut 12%, which is pretty shocking.

An "oh duh" -$0.92 which I wouldn't have noticed except for this thread.
On another note. I can't find the original thread.

Exciting.
Next month? Payments might be in the order of the most recent instead of what was 100 years ago.
Can't Google allow their employees out to mix with the "real" people in the "real world" for a change?
Surely the fresh air might bring valuable change.

I know for a fact some of it goes back to the advertisers, because I'm an advertiser and most of my client accounts have adjustments in varying amounts at the end of every month.
How much of it, I dunno.

Adsense just took some money off of my last months FINALIZED earnings marking it as "Other Debit"... I wonder if anyone else had this, and what in the world does other debit mean, like there is a debit that I know...

Ok something is going very weird with this - I had supposedly "finalized" earnings on Sept 1 where they took off $.34.
Then on September 7, they took off $10.12. On September 8, $4.28 and yesterday, $2.72.
And they're removing it NOT from the estimated earnings from last month, but from the current balance that is supposed to be paid at the end of THIS month.
So either those deductions are for August, which means there's no such thing as finalized earnings anymore, or they're for September, which means they're taking funds from last months earnings for this month's activity.
It's not a lot of money, but it's adding up, and if this is really what is happening, it means you will never know until you receive your payment how much it will be.
I sent an inquiry in to support on this. I find this disturbing.

Sorry netmeg.. I wanted to say that the reason might be an unusual traffic pattern.
PS: I have these for a few months now I think (it's still a very small amount), I reduced them (to almost nothing) by de-optimizing..
