Oh, my stats have hardly moved since this morning, the thing has come to a grinding halt for the moment, I hope, strange they did this to me yesterday at the same time of day...what are they up to now?

Changed to text-only to see if it made a difference. It did - better results. Perhaps text based adverts work better with text based sites.

Good page views, good EPC, clicks dramatically decreased - not a great day.

jmccormac - I've tried that a few times. Always resulted in much more clicks, but much lower EPC.

@zarathustra2011 It is a bit of a tradeoff but the overall result was better than text/image. Whether it continues at the same level remains to be seen but I might just leave it on text-only for the next few days.

Yesterday earnings closed up at 50% of average. Best day in nearly six weeks. Hope this upward trend continues (the downward one has been going on far too long!)

Tuesday ended up with overnight clicks etc and more or less an average August 2012. day. I wonder if things will pick up more after the European holidays?

Glad it's working jmcc. Although it didn't work for me, ironically my best performing ad is a text-only one (leaderboard size).

The past two days, I have had a slight boost in traffic, yet these have both been the worst two days of the month. The less traffic I get, the better earnings I seem to have. Pretty much all my traffic is organic and driven straight from Google, so I don't much understand the logic behind it.

Seem to get a regular pattern of virtually no clicks in the afternoon (GMT), which is very unusual. Whenever I had this is the past, I'd get a click dump later, but these days that doesn't seem to happen.
Things were looking okay this morning, but pretty dire at the moment.

I'll second that. No movement for nearly nine hours.

Stats can't be right - seem to be missing the past 5-6 hours, though page views read as normal.

Curse you HuskyPup! Grrrrrr.
Who can I pass it onto now - Play_Bach? Perhaps that would be too cruel when they're already suffering.
Netmeg's doing pretty well, I think they deserve it?!

Still no clicks - it's totally dead. It's been strange since Monday, but is looking far worse today. In some of the other Adsense forums, I've come across one or two people reporting the same issues around the same time.

Even though it's a bank holiday in many places, my visitor numbers haven't dropped, yet my earnings since Monday have been very low. Wednesday's been my worst day for as long as I can remember. It's solely down to a reported lack of clicks, which I find strange. Prior to Monday, everything had been great for some time.

Yesterday earnings closed up again at 50% of average and slightly surpassed Tuesday. Still only 1/6 of what I was making in 2009, but at least earnings are moving back up again. Hope it continues!

No clicks registering again this morning, but pageviews going up as normal. There is a serious problem going on here, and I wish I knew what it was. In the past there would always be a click-dump during the day, when this problem happened, but it's been a few days, and my clicks are down nearly 50%.

I've looked at the code on my site, and the code for the Adsense (hasn't been touched for a long time, but it was a direct copy and paste made at the time). The only difference I can find is that sometimes after the 'google_ad_client' the ca is missing before the pub, so reads "pub-#*$!xx" and not "ca-pub-#*$!xx". Don't know if this is suddenly making a difference, but I will go through and recopy and paste all the code today just in case.

For what...Feast day of the Assumption of Mary?

In 40 years travelling Europe I've never, ever heard of this before, mind you I have to admit that I've generally written-off mid-July until the end of August as almost pointless in some countries for even attempting to do business.

The feast of the Assumption on August 15 is a public holiday in many countries, including Austria, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, France, Germany (Bavaria only), Greece, Lebanon, Lithuania, Italy, Malta, Mauritius,[4] Poland, Portugal, Senegal, Spain and Vanuatu.[5] In Eastern Orthodox churches following the Julian Calendar, the feast day of Assumption of Mary falls on August 28. [en.wikipedia.org...]

I've never heard of it. Then again, i'm not catholic.

I was dismayed to learn last Monday, 6th we still observed that anachronism.

I thought that went out with the ark. Well after they stopped opening Saturdays decades back.

Shows you how often I go to a bank.

Heh, we have *fireworks* for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary (at least, some places do) But it's not a national holiday. We're kind of in the dog days here until Labor Day.
