'Either people are tired of clicking G-ads, or G is serving some pretty useless ones these days. Can't keep things running much longer on this pittance. '
I agree whole heartily! It's has become a pittance for sure!

Yesterday was good enough to cover for the whole week. Today, not so much.
8:15 pm on Aug 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday started off at a phenomenal rate, but ended really moderately. Today started off pretty badly, but has emerged from its caccoon this evening, and now looks very promising.
8:38 pm on Aug 9, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was good. Today I'm getting very few clicks and it appears to be due to wildly off-topic ads.
Google, Adsense worked a lot better before you started messing with it.

Yes and no.
The final proof will be Google's bottom line in the future. AdSense is run for Google not for us publishers.

Yesterday made up for Tuesdays low, and today looks ok. All evening out to average.

Very true. From Google's perspective, 200 publishers earning $6 each is better than 100 publishers earning $10 each. Up to now, supply of ad space has been constantly increasing despite falling eCPM; for every one of us who drops out, more come in. I suspect (hope) that with the current mess that might be changing.

Lowest page views in some time, met with highest clicks, highest EPC and highest earnings in about 4 months.
7:29 pm on Aug 10, 2012 (gmt 0)
Horrible Friday after a steady Thursday, EPC way down at 66% of August's average.
12:36 am on Aug 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Average Friday, after better than average Wednesday and Thursday.
5:39 am on Aug 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Friday is FINALLY shaping up to be JUST SLIGHTLY BELOW average after the worst Wed/Thurs EVER. I hope they don't repeat THAT experiment again any time soon.
11:17 am on Aug 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday earnings closed up at 50% of average. Best day of the month. Hope the upward trend continues.
3:12 pm on Aug 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Friday WAS looking average, then I logged in today and yesterday's earnings ended in an all time low. They really shaved the earnings off, and today looks worse so far.
8:56 pm on Aug 11, 2012 (gmt 0)
Just logged in after an afternoon away from the computer, and clicks haven't budged, or I should say "click" hasn't budged. Yes 1 click ALL day. Pennies. AdSense is really messed up!

Saturday turned out well.
12:07 pm on Aug 12, 2012 (gmt 0)
This is turning out to be a bizarre month. My best days so far have been as follows:
1. Thursday 2nd
2. Saturday 4th
3. Saturday 11th
Each day's earnings were within pence of each other nonetheless two of my best days on a Saturday?
1:47 am on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)

Strange few days - SummerSense low and daily earnings end close to each other within a few cents. Seems artificial.
6:38 am on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
Sunday was very good indeed.
9:14 am on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
Sunday was my worst day of the month, 38% of Saturday and 49% of August's average.
CTR at 90.8% however the killer was EPC at 65.5%. The real damage was done by the USA, clicks were just below average at 85.7%, I've had lower on a Sunday, BUT EPC was 42.5% resulting in a 30.7% eCPM.
I have to say I'm seeing some very off-topic ads in the UK, I am not a car dealer but seeing a lot of those, however what was being shown in the US yesterday I'd like to know.

zarathustra2011: Sunday was very good indeed.
Same here, rest of days really slow...
3:36 pm on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
AdSense just doesn't MakeSense anymore.
4:15 pm on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
Good weekend; slow clicks today but very high EPC.
4:49 pm on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
Don't know what on earth's happening today, but I don't like it.
5:40 pm on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
The stats were definitely stuck earlier, I was seeing different column figures which should have been the same, they seem to have sort of caught-up now.
6:33 pm on Aug 13, 2012 (gmt 0)
very very bad adsense very bad
12:41 am on Aug 14, 2012 (gmt 0)
I've found some freedom in not caring about day to day fluctuations. At the end of the month, I'm pretty much going to be down about 30%-50% of what I made during most of 2011. I see days that make me scratch my head (like yesterday) only to see the next day show double the amount as what I made the day before. Overall, it stopped making sense for a couple months now, and now I'm numb to it. Took a long while but like anything, humans can adapt to any environment. I'm glad to have alternative sources of income and most likely that helps.
August is looking to average around what I made last month. This is an improvement, but only by about 5-10% if I'm lucky. The good thing is I've noticed very few claw backs on what must be considered "invalid" clicks. Either I did a better job at fixing some site issues or the reporting has made a people powered auto correct...

From best day in months to the worst day in months. Monday was awful!
9:25 am on Aug 14, 2012 (gmt 0)
And I went from my worst day of the month to my best day with a 275.8% earnings' increase over Sunday and +184.2% EPC.
The saw tooth is getting lower and higher!
Here's a question:
When was the "G" ico replaced by the "g" ico with the blue background?
12:37 pm on Aug 14, 2012 (gmt 0)
I noticed that too; but it only shows up a few places, not everywhere. Like in my Woopra analytics - just changed yesterday for the first time.
4:15 pm on Aug 14, 2012 (gmt 0)
Oh, my stats have hardly moved since this morning, the thing has come to a grinding halt for the moment, I hope, strange they did this to me yesterday at the same time of day...what are they up to now?
