GoMo - Google Partners with DudaMobile
Offers Adsense Publishers a Mobile Website Tool

 8:31 pm on Jun 29, 2012 (gmt 0)

I got an email from Adsense this week...

Subject: Build Your Mobile Site For Free with Google AdSense and DudaMob

In the email it says-

Around 7% of your page views are now coming from mobile devices. In the next 18 months, you can expect 15 - 30% of your site traffic to come from mobile.

As an AdSense publisher, it's important that you give your visitors a great mobile experience.

That's why we've partnered with DudaMobile to provide you with a customized tool to build & host a version of your mobile site for free.* You will also be able to add AdSense ad units to start monetizing your new mobile site right away.

GoMo is a Google initiative to help businesses like yours make their sites mobile-friendly. Visit GoMo to learn why mobile matters, get a personalized report on how to mobilize your site and find a developer who can help you start building your mobile site.

Don't know what to make of it....

Your link redirects me to the French version on a dot com..registered to Google..

Looks like my prediction of Google getting into hosting adsense sites and trying to turning us webmasters into virtual sharecroppers ..is coming true..

edited to correct ..it is adotcom multilingual offers 12 languages..offers "approved" website designers..and requires a G account and Ganalytics ...natch ;)

This was covered in the latest Adsense in Your City meeting, but I found gomo lacking. It keeps putting my footer at the top, and my top content at the bottom.

It choked on step #3 of the free design tool. Would not let me move/delete some less relevant links from the document flow... then it (the design tool) froze.

5-minute drive-by test result: FAIL
