Thanks Play_Bach. The weekends have been rather odd for me lately... in a nice way. Far fewer visitors than during the week, but more clicks and higher CPC.

(Still no clicks for today, so things may even out.)

Had an awesome day, but after waking up, the night had been pretty flat by comparison. Still overall, it was very good and I've no cause for complaints.

Very odd observation here. Yesterday was a great day for me and was one of the best of the past few weeks (that's not really saying much). However I noticed this and have you seen the same?

I'm seeing many more impressions being shown on a particular site ad unit. I just checked awstats which I use always. It shows no bump in traffic which I was expecting. To me this says Adsense is counting more traffic than it has been recently. Like a filter adjustment? Not sure. I would be curious if anyone is seeing a bump in impressions which is not normal. Based on what I'm seeing, I would have in the past assumed my site got increased traffic. That's not the case. It's something on the Adsense back end. I'm hopeful that something is happening with my situation which may bring back some normalcy.

Good good good. Glad I switched in those 728x90s. Good good good.

If anything my traffic has dropped MrSavage, yet I am getting more impressions and more clicks (plus better EPC). It's been like this for a good week now.

Today looks OK so far. Almost half a day left. Sunday ended like Sundays often do for me...poor.

Oh my. All I can say is oh my.

So I put the 728x90 on on Sunday morning. Just since Sunday morning it's already out earned TWO 468x60 ads this month. Despite having less than half the impressions and half the clicks, the CTR is double and the EPC is double.

Next time I'm stubborn about trying something new, someone hit me upside the head.

netmeg, great news!

We run a 728x90 as well, but it isn't performing as well as either of our 300x250s. What position on the page have you placed it?

We are seeing some nice chunky clicks today though > 1.50 - which is always nice!

Not at the very top (that's where the navigation is) but between the title and subtitle of the site, and the main content.

Loving me some AdSense! My Page RPM has been increasing every month since January which is nice. Then about two weeks ago Page RPM started to noticeably increase while CTR stayed approximately the same so EPC must be increasing. And now today I'm seeing Page RPM like I've only dreamed of. I'm hoping this continues but suspect it's some sort of end of quarter blow the advertising budget deal .

I was just going over stats for yesterday's terrific earnings and found one ad unit received a $23+ click? How is this possible? I won't complain, and I'm sure this will disappear off the "finalized earnings".

I just swam past yesterdays earnings (not really saying much) but I'm a bit more chipper none the less. No reason to slam my fist on the table today!

Today is almost over and looks almost as good as yesterday! IF (yes a big if) this keeps up, I'll surpass May.

Either two advertisers have been very stupid at the same time or it's more evidence for my CPA ads hypothesis.

You need to be creating new content to see the Pascal's triangle. If your [sic] standing still, then you can basically forget it.

How often do you suggest that new content should be added? IIRC, you said daily in another thread. (now removed.)... I beg to differ.

Well i'm studying this from a mathematical point of view with adsense and can see the Pascal's triangle form with regard clicks.

Pascal's Triangle doesn't take into account the Adsense folks shooting the rabbits.

Today at this time is the worst that my mind can remember. Is this Panda influence? Not sure. The bottom line is if there is no correction, I'm looking at an extensive sell off. This isn't worth the ups and downs. Is anyone stuck today? I hope that's what it is but I have 2 hours left. I pretty much should stop posting here because it becomes silly at this point. Posting every week about all time worst days? Yeah. That's what I need to think about. There's obviously something not quite right and I don't blame Adsense for that.

I think June's set to match May, which wasn't terrible, but the goods times of June 2011 - March 2012 have left me.
Last night I updated a newer version of my website, with plenty of updates and new pages. Just hope I see an improvement before too long, as such updates always make me anxious.

First day with my big upgrade. Was a bit nervous this morning - three hours, and very few impressions and just a few clicks paying pennies. Fortunately the CPC rocketed upwards, along with impressions, a little later on. So far, so good, though I need to give it time for the new pages to get indexed.
The last few days have been okay, but as I had a relatively bad start to the month, June has failed to impress.

Clearly with discussions of competing networks (like Facebook) they have turned the spigot back on

I would call that a theory, not a "clearly". My spigot, as you put it, was never turned off.

Last night we surpassed last June, and with three high traffic days left this month. I'm happy.

Well my earnings are increasing month on month, so May was my best former earnings, June is 45% up so far on May. Still seeing the pascal's triangle saw blade pattern but not complaining. I really do feel also that the PR advice given to myself is paying off, I know some people on this forum feel i'm talking nonsense but my earnings are doing the talking.
