Google AdSense Forum

Declined for insufficient content
Declined for insufficient content and no answer on the google forum

Hi Guys,

We signed up for adsense for one of our sites and the adsense team sent us an email declining the application for insufficient content. The problem is that most of our data on the site is in image format in order to protect it. Given the amount of content that we actually do have on the site, it does not seem logical that we were declined.

Another issue is that there is no way of contacting adsense other than posting on the google forum. I posted last week and have yet to receive a reply.

Does anyone have any advice on how to receive a speedy reply or maybe how to bypass this insufficient content problem? (An answer of adding more content would not be appreciated... Thanks.

Ok, first of all, I hope you read the AdSense terms and conditions better than you read the WebmasterWorld ones, because no site addresses allowed here. Yours will no doubt be removed.

Second of all - when I viewed your site, most of what jumped out at me are ads. An ebay search box. Ads on the left and right sidebar. Ads below. Whatever content is there is buried by ads.

The fact that your content is images - how is a contextual ad network supposed to parse that anyway?

It seems extremely logical to me that you were declined. And if you're not interested in adding actual content, then I guess you're stuck.

No, there's no "other" way of contacting AdSense.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the URL mixup. I typed the message in a hurry.

The reason our data is images is to protect it. If there were a way to contact adsense and discuss this, that would be great. Given however that it seems like it is not open to discussion, we are going to have to do something about that on the site.

Thanks again.
