> one heck of a roller coaster ride
My roller-coaster left the tracks and crashed. Sadly, there were few survivors. Looking forward to a new roller-coaster this month.

Definitely a roller coaster here. Thanks for a good 2 weeks at the start of the month, I haven't finished too badly. Just hoping things can recover in April, because the last couple of weeks have been very unpredictable.

I pulled all but 1 ad unit on my main site. I refuse to give away clicks for 1 or 2 cents anymore.

sunday + 1st day of any month, the worst combination
8:28 pm on Apr 1, 2012 (gmt 0)
Oh boy, either the stats are completely and utterly stuck or they've broken AdSense completely...disaster day!

I was just thinking the same thing

Are the stats stuck today? I am fairly new to adsense. When do these so called "Click Dumps" happen? The Day after, tonight. Or is today just awful.

DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!
This is my worst day day since 2004 ... WTF .?.?

HuskyPup, Im glad Im not the only one. Horrible week. Horrible day. It started ok, then stopped, and went down the hill.
4:21 am on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
10 hours later, still dead. There's only 2.5 hours left before midnight here, it'll be interesting to see if/when things update.

First quarter ended now, earnings should pick back up this month. Remember advertisers blow their budgets in the fourth quarter because of xmas and then they dont want to spend in the first quarter.
Second quarter is always good for me in my niche, but well see.

Midnight has come and gone, no update. :-(
8:10 am on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
Ended on an average day. Just checked my comparison to this time last year, and I seem to have fallen back to last year's figures, which aren't terrible by any means, but it seems my six month streak of nice, consistent earnings has come to an end now.

Is anyone else experiencing the early morning high paying click phenomena? This morning for example, I get a click on one of my slightly better payings ad formats for approximately $3.50. I never get payouts that much for a single click. During the course of the day I know I will get more and more clicks, and I'll have nothing that remotely comes close to it. Is it Adsense's way of sorting out miscalculated earnings from the day before?
1:27 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
Pathetic Google, no matter what you may try and say I do not believe one single word you utter any more.
My lowest-earnings' day so far of 2012 for my biggest site was January 1st with a 58.8% of 2012 average, yesterday hit an all-time low with 23.04%...yep, less than a quarter of an average day.
Whatever those bozos have broken they broke almost completely yesterday.
2:06 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday? What about today? Page RPM is 1/3! Lowest RPM ever in almost 10 years of Adsense implementation!
2:10 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was pretty grim; all I can say is - thank goodness for mobile.
2:12 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
I used to have horrible months on February and March. I had "horrible" months (not so horrible like 3 years ago). But April was always a good month. Not only the new Panda update took 20% of my visits (and I still dont know how)(rankings are the same)... it now provides me horrible income?
3:36 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
below 50% of the usual earnings.

My April is starting out really well. On March 31st, I blocked all third-party ad networks because Google states that the new privacy policies on publisher sites that allow these networks must list them and their URLs. No way...but things seem much better. Coincidence? Maybe. I'll wait and see.

First time I've heard this. Where do they say that?
7:10 pm on Apr 2, 2012 (gmt 0)
I would say this is probably an interpretation and we don't know for sure.

@Play_Bach, it's here:
Provide links to the appropriate vendor and ad network websites.

I must say this:
I have no clue what makes my adsense go up or down and I have been using adsense since 2004.
My traffic doesn't fluctuate all that much but the earnings do.
They were climbing for a while... then tanked end of December..... and I mean tanked... and now it is climbing since last month. I really haven't changed what I have been doing for the last 5 months.
Content is still king.

Google is still king (and I'm off to the pub)
2:09 am on Apr 3, 2012 (gmt 0)
Not only clicks are way down, RPM is horrible!
2:13 am on Apr 3, 2012 (gmt 0)
But I still dont get it. Income in most niches are in the usual numbers, are still I have like 30% off this day. :S
