In the Orthodox part of the world is Easter for 3 days (Monday is a non-working day)...

Ha,ha,ha! I checked 20 minutes ago and 3 clicks from India for pennies. Just checked now and Google took back 3 pennies. Worst day yet...I want my 3 cents back...ha,ha,ha, I need a drink.

Dead is an understatement. At least it's not just me.

Saturdays are usually lousy earning days for me but today's the worst Saturday since Panda 1.0 hit a year ago. Lower than avg CTR, miserable CPC.
I launched a new post today about watches and the ads are for toilet partitions, Halloween supplies and Christian dating. Are there no ads for watches available? Is it too much to ask that Google attempt to match ads to the page content? Because, like, if I was reading an article about watches, and ads for watches or related items were showing, I think I'd be tempted to click on them. Toilet partitions, not so much.

Another day of above average ad requests, but hardly any clicks. Lowest earnings all month. Crazy.
5:34 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
1.5 hours to go 45 cents 3 clicks... wow... I'm raking in the cash...
5:49 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Correction : 49 cents 3 clicks... I can afford that new Ferrari now.

Same story here Play_Bach. Plenty of page views, but clicks and earnings way down.
9:13 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was the best day of the month for me. Superb day, and a saturday too !
9:15 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Lucky you, Lame_Wolf. Did you do anything differently?
9:20 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
(2:13am) Just checked my stats: yesterday was the highest ad requests day by far, earnings the lowest and CTR and CPC was less than 50%. Way, WAY off the norm for my account. :-|

> Lucky you, Lame_Wolf.
Interesting. I think LW is located in the UK, so maybe regional reporting is at play here? I'm in the SF Bay Area and my AdSense stats lately have been bizaare, to say the least!

GOOGLE tricks is divide people, some will get their lowest earning & some will get that same day highest earnings but overall we are all losers, "LOSERS & LOSERS & LOSERS", compare the earnings from previous year you will know Greedy Google is taking your money.
11:18 am on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
I did nothing different. I hadn't changed anything for days (removed adverts that were low performing and replaced them with my own advert which points people to pages that do have adverts.)
Plus, I had approximately half the amount of visitors than I have for a weekday.
Yes, I am in the UK, but my site is US based, and mainly for the USA market.
Really odd day to say the least.

Ok, the reality is that AdSense is no longer beer money for me...By not going out for a couple of hours I shall save more than AdSense's pitiful daily earnings.
It's fallen off the cliff insofar as I am concerned.

(6:44am) Just waking up here. On my iPad, I went to the mobile version of the AdSense reports and selected last month and this month - looks like a San Andreas Fault earthquakes seismograph!
2:03 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Things looking pretty average for me. Traffic down but for some reason CPC for my best countries is up.
2:26 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
3:05 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Average day again yesterday - Sundays are always week on my end so no expectations for today.
Nonetheless, Happy invalid click and traffic day!
3:05 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was my worst Saturday in years. Something has definitely changed. On average I add two to three pages of new content daily, and my stats are constant, so what's up? I just wish Google could be a little more upfront about any changes they make so that we don't have to go around whispering to each other.

The cruelty of Adsense is upon me. Just logged in. Not a good number of clicks, but CPC extremely high. I don't trust it for a second. Before six weeks ago, when the CPC rose like that it stayed, but now Adsense just raises it from time to time, then reduces it again an hour or so later. Very frustrating.

> The cruelty of Adsense is upon me.
Sorry to hear it. It's almost flu like, this AdSense bug that seems to be going around. Some people get it, some don't. For those that do succumb, some get very very sick, some even die. I'm in the AdSense ICU, in case anybody wants to visit or bring me flowers.

Zarathustra - The situation you describe is bizarre. Google has tried to explain this phenomenon (smart pricing?), but I'm still confused by how that works. I've gone on my account to see incredible RPM, only to have it taken away minutes later. Reporting is normally delayed by a few hours, but I'm wondering if Google occasionally allows for a real-time glimpse at the stats.
3:39 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
At the moment, the CPC is holding, and estimated earnings are still looking good, but I've had too much experience of this happening in the past few weeks, and have seen it half within the hour, so I don't trust it for a second.
Play_Bach - Adsense has left me too broke for flowers, but you're welcome to an e-card. ;)
4:26 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
I've just unblocked everything, it cannot possibly get any worse since the next level is zero.
Sorry Play_Bach, I'm the same as zarathustra2011 however I do know of a store selling some really nasty plastic flowers...they last longer as well.
5:05 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
CPC hasn't crashed as before, but it has diminished quite a bit, and I reckon by the end of the day, I'll be back down to a pitiful amount.
Can anyone beat an e-card and plastic flowers? I think Play_Bach needs cheering up.

He can have my AdSense check this month...Oh, you said "cheering up". Sorry.

I've just sent an air guitar. :)

@Lame_Wolf, Play_Bach wanted me to let you know the air guitar's neck is broken, so he's sending it back. You shouldn't have been so rough testing it.
9:04 pm on Apr 15, 2012 (gmt 0)
Sorry Play_Bach - once upon a time, we were the most generous, charitable and gregarious bunch of characters you could hope to find on the net, but Adsense has turned us into Scrooges - we are mean and grumpy... Bah humbug!
