Stats stuck.

Weblog shows things as normal. Adsense is way behind.

Totally agree Play Bach, it was actually fun to watch the money roll in back in those days!

Hey, i'm getting the feeling that these fluctuations are not related to g's system so much, or our websites. They might be related to a (huge) 3rd party. Did anyone analize the data in correlation to bing/yahoo or somebody else's activity so far?

zerillos, are you saying that if traffic is being referred from Bing, Yahoo or anywhere other than Google, that we are being penalized?

I follow the logic, but I don't see that as being a realistic assumption, if that's what you're getting at.

Meanwhile, almost 10:00 pm ET and I'm having the best day in the last four right now. All metrics - and earnings - up, though pageviews are just average.

Yesterday was better than the horrendous day before with earnings at about 50% of average. So far, February only has had a couple of days that I'd consider normal earnings, all the rest have been under or way under. Looking forward to March!

I see a lot of activity from bing and yahoo IPs, that come without a proper user agent and... they take .js files. So, it's safe to assume they also take the adsense .js. they are obviously bots, which take down ctr, because they don't click the ads. Or even worse, they could generate invalid clicks. There's no way to tell. Either way, this could put you in the smart pricing list...

Thursday saw my best day's earnings of 2012 however if I take Wednesday and Thursday combined they were average therefore was there possibly a click dump delay?

Well, my earnings on Tuesday and Wednesday were freakishly low (terrible ctr) but had a bumper Thursday so it seems to have evened itself out for me as well.

Since Wed, things have hit rock boottom with no recovery yet. :( WTF is going on?

I'm hoping so far it is simply a click delay since I've never seen such a low CTR and click volume at this time of day...I mean the US, Canada and UK clicks can ALL be counted on two hands!

Almost incredulous however this is Google 2012 for you.

@HuskyPup I hope it's a click delay as well. I've never seen one taking so long...three days? And the interesting thing is when a US click does show, it's pennies. Very odd.

I bet you it's not.

If this is the "new normal", I'm not likin' it. Impressions are registering at hundreds per hour yet the click counter is slower than molasses flowing uphill. Same as yesterday and the day before - basically since the 15th of the month.

Stuck here for hours as well. I'm off to the pub - staring at my computer screen of disappointment isn't working.

Don't think so, my Saturday is utter garbage just like yesterday, traffic normal, advertisers seemingly normal...Google fubard again.

Garbage here too. Im starting to wonder if its adsense or just garbage traffic. Time will tell. Either way google search or adsense better get there act together or I see a very disappointing earnings quarter for them along with myself.

Well here's a new record for me:

United Kingdom 0% CTR ... That's right 0%

With a 1.2% 2012 average the last 6 days for the UK have gone:

0.10%
1.98%
0.33%
0.39%
0.24%
0.00%

Even on Xmas and New Year's Days I had clicks.

Google, the time is rapidly approaching for you to be removed.

You keep saying that. Why not just do it. I've removed Adsense from another site, and removed Adsense for Search on two others. Maybe they should rebrand themselves as Adsenseless. ;)

Have those people in Adsense banjaxed targeting? This seems to be more than a simple click counting problem.

That's like asking a gambler to walk away from the table. Don't think he ever will and is just venting (not that I mind HuskyPup, I enjoy your posts ;-)

It may just be pure coincidence however every time I vent like this my earnings recover!

Maybe, just maybe, someone at The Plex reads it and asks questions...nah...they haven't learnt how to read there yet:-)

WooHoo, so far I've had one click from the UK today and for your info yesterday the USA was completely normal for me. Is the UK totally bug**ed?

Still stuck dead here. Hopefully the USA servers have yet to update, otherwise today does not look good at all. :-(
