How long have they been working on that? First they love the publishers then it's back to the wall of silence. How many times has a new AdSense Advisor popped in promising a new day in publisher relations only to disappear after gathering a ton of good feedback?
I would love it if Google committed itself to communicating with publishers. It's not enough to have one foot in the Google blog and another foot on twitter. That's self-promotion, not communication.
WebmasterWorld has been a source of quality feedback that has helped Google improve it's program in hundreds of ways. If Google is serious about communicating with publishers then they really have to make a commitment with both feet on the same ground as publishers.
