I agree with you, HuskyPup. Sometimes there is a slight delay, but in this case it would be a 72 hour delay for me which is highly doubtful.

@pelizden, @ndaru, and @tidewatcher, any chance you are using DFP to server you AdSense code? Just trying to find similarities. I had a split test running on one ad placement where 50% of the time DFP was serving AdSense code and the other 50% I was directly placing AdSense into the page. The DFP served ads are the ones that took the hit. Could be coincidence, but not sure. Running some tests now.
7:39 pm on Nov 18, 2011 (gmt 0)
No, not using DFP here. Still unusually low CTR and Page RPM here today. Page impressions are normal, and nothing new has happened to my site, so not sure what's going on to explain steep drop off in clicks.

Oh...so what happened on Friday?
Second worst day of November making it also the second worst day of 2011 with earnings at 50% of average.
Everything massively down ... it looks like another data loss day since my logs are telling me it was a normal day ... thanks again G, I bet you don't have days like this!
1:57 pm on Nov 19, 2011 (gmt 0)
Not a single click today (UK 13:56) and impressions way down - Google Panda version? is sucking the life blood out of websites
2:15 pm on Nov 19, 2011 (gmt 0)
I have this very strange feeling that this is going to be my worst AdSense day ever and I have absolutely no idea why other than my EPC is currently at 40% and page impressions at 12.5% however my logs are telling me I'm having normal Saturday traffic ... What have they broken now?
2:33 pm on Nov 19, 2011 (gmt 0)
Odd day indeed here, too HP (USA). Very unusually low click count for this time of day, while page impressions normal.
There has to be something wrong on Google's end.
4:57 pm on Nov 19, 2011 (gmt 0)
For the first time ever, well, since Performance > Country charts were available, so far my UK earnings for today are ZERO ... It's flatlined across the table, the only thing I have are Page Views and 0.01 under RPM ... WTH is going on?
5:11 pm on Nov 19, 2011 (gmt 0)
Same for me 1 penny showing against Adsense today

another very low day here too.
5:46 am on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
lowest earnings in 7 years, considering removing all Adsense and it is turning out to be a joke, and not a funny one
9:47 am on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
No idea why, but yesterday smashed my best ever record by a good amount, and this morning is also shaping up very well indeed. At least 20% more clicks and a good average rate per click - I suspect it must be better quality paying advertisers in the run up to Christmas, although my website is not seasonal itself.
3:29 pm on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
I have no idea when it happened, certainly after midnight UK time, however yesterday turned into an absolutely "average" day meaning it was also above a regular Saturday however not by the amount that was "lost" on Friday.
What are they playing about with now that's obviously consuming processing time rather than keeping AdSense running smoothly? Hopefully not, for me, the disastrous 2010 Xmas shopping algo.
8:18 pm on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
I too seemed to have recovered somewhat yesterday. Today seems to be pretty normal for the most part. The fall in CPM is definitely related to clicks in that CTR was way down. CTR has recovered a bit but CPC is up making the revenue look relatively normal. We'll see what happens next. Hopefully they are just experimenting.
9:47 pm on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
Two bad days in a row.
10:29 pm on Nov 20, 2011 (gmt 0)
My stats recovered somewhat too. Back to relative normalcy after a strange dip. CTR and CPC back to normal ranges -- no idea what happened. Perhaps a batch of very uninteresting ads.

They've done something on their side in the last few days that causes the older browser I like to use to say their ad hasn't finished loading (in the browser bar: "Waiting for googleads.g.doubleclick.net..." and a spinning status icon in the top right corner). I may dump them for that alone.

to say their ad hasn't finished loading (in the browser bar: "Waiting for googleads.g.doubleclick.net..."
Not only on older browsers, I had Firefox lock-up on me completely yesterday on Statcounter, I had to ctrl/alt/del to get out of it and this hasn't been the only site in the last few days I've had problems with ads loading.
Yesterday's EPC fine, CTR and click volume well below average.
Oh bring me back the days when my graphs used to look like the rolling English South Downs, these days they look as though there has been a massive crash of tectonic plates and my graphs now resemble the Himalayas.
2:51 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
My earnings have fallen off a cliff. Clicks and impressions are still there, but earnings down by 80%.
4:16 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
Strange and disturbing :) my earnings were stable but this november been having some average and low days, one very high among them. A few days a really LOW day but yesterday 200% (the second this month).
5:50 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
After my highest day ever, yesterday was my second highest earning day, and today is also looking pretty promising. No idea what's going on - same level/quality of traffic to my site, and same old ads as far as I can see from my browser. Definitely shaping up to be my best month ever.
5:52 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
> Definitely shaping up to be my best month ever.
Glad to here you're doing well. November is on track to be my worst. :-(
7:18 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
Frustrating. This Monday is shaping up to be 50% of LAST Monday. Page RPM at HALF what it was on Thursday. Same traffic numbers, if not better, but lower CTR. Everything started to go south on Friday...
8:05 pm on Nov 21, 2011 (gmt 0)
WOW, after a 200% yesterday, today 14:00+ I haven't beaten the CENTS level!
1:48 am on Nov 22, 2011 (gmt 0)
Thanksgiving week in the U.S. People traveling, thinking about food and family. Silly people. Visits and clicks are down. Should pick up next Monday.
8:17 am on Nov 22, 2011 (gmt 0)
Very sorry to hear it Play_Bach - it seems every month you go from worse to worse. I guess things can only get better.
I'll probably stop posting until Google Ads starts giving me a bad turn. Nothing worse than coming into a forum saying everything's going very well this month, when it's a stinker of a month for most people. I'm sure come January, I'll be back here moaning that earnings aren't as good as November.
2:11 pm on Nov 22, 2011 (gmt 0)

Stick around! We need positive voices here, especially in these threads.

If it was .... "a stinker of a month for most people" this thread would be 50 pages long, not 5.
AdSense itself is doing fine by me. It's true my income is down a lot, but that's because I got hammered hard by Panda so my traffic is down a lot.
10:57 pm on Nov 22, 2011 (gmt 0)
I guess one of the problems in the forum is that we don't know each other's sites, nor can we reveal all our Google Adsense stats. There's been comments about the uselessness of percentages, and whether I say I've done better this month or any particular day, or worse on another is probably of little consequence.
I did have a couple of mediocre days near the start of this month, and since then reinstated all the URLs I had on my previous block list (quite a substantial number). I couldn't say if that has made the difference, but I've been getting fantastic results this month. I do not update my website on a regular basis either, and there's no dynamic content. I have had my site for a lot of years though, and it's always featured in the top position on a number of popular Google keywords within the genre in which I'm based. I've designed and written the site myself from scratch with SEO in mind, but quite a lot of the content isn't completely original (I've quite a few guest contributions). Fortunately I can say Panda never affected by stats. Of course there may come a day!
8:12 am on Nov 23, 2011 (gmt 0)
Last three days were well below average, with ctr way down...
8:04 pm on Nov 23, 2011 (gmt 0)
CPC running about half of normal today. The holidays used to be my golden goose. Not anymore. In the past seven years my internet income has gone from six figures to sub-minimum wage. Pandalized, sitemaps pending forever in Bing, Adsense roller coaster going subterranean. Glad I saved and live frugally.
