AdSense Publishers - How Many Invited to Alternate Networks?
And How Many Have Tested them Out?
7:29 am on Oct 5, 2011 (gmt 0)
There are some emails that are clearly bogus networks, link sellers. But there are a lot of other networks that are partners with large advertisers and advertising agencies.
Have you been approached by these networks?
Have you tested them out?
...our program allows advertisers to simultaneously utilize contextual relevance and user intent to target ads on top-brand high quality websites. Our system is capable of using text, image or flash creative designs and appending dynamic elements to create hybrid ad units in real-time. Advertisers also have tremendous flexibility to choose between CPC, CPM and CPA bidding models.
...Media.net has raised significant capital and is backed by the Ashmore Group (www.ashmoregroup.com) and the Directi Group (www.directi.com). Ashmore manages over US$35.3 billion (at 30 June 2010) in pooled funds, segregated accounts and structured products. Directi is a $300 million group of businesses that develops innovative mass-market web products for global customers
And here's another one I've been approached by, lijit.com [lijit.com], that has just been acquired by Federated Media [lijit.com].

But all couldn't even get close to Lijit's rates.
Those other guys are paying what, CPM in the 25 - 50 cent range?
For ads that offer formats that AdSense doesn't offer I'm willing to take a lower eCPM. Getting me to take AdSense out of a spot and replace it with some other network means the new network has to pay more than AdSense.
I haven't found a network that was able to do that yet. Direct ads can pay more, but they are more work than I want to do at the moment.

slightly higher than that for me. But considering their a pretty new company, I would say that's pretty awesome. (decent rates)
Considering Chitika was like 0.03 CPM for me. Which I can't see how ANYBODY could give any type of traffic towards.

Wordpress is rolling out WordAds, an advertising program in partnership with Federated Media, stating:
"You pour a lot of time and effort into your blog and you deserve better than AdSense."

Yea but that's only for sites hosted on wordpress.com with custom domains and there's a traffic threshold you have to meet.
