max increase earnings per month

Msg#: 4365303 posted 12:41 pm on Sep 21, 2011 (gmt 0)

I want to know if more people see this:

My adsense earnings are increasing every month. But if it is increased by say 30% in one month the CPC gets lower and lower. Just like Google is saying "You earn enough this month".

And when the new month is started the CPC gets higher.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have the classic case of budget burnout by your advertisers.

Supposedly some advertisers spend by the month and their CPC reduces as the month goes along, most of the companies in my industry tend to use daily budgets resulting in a relatively consistent CPC all month for them...and me, usually.

Does that help?

Also, advertisers tend to let their display network ads run for a bit, and then they take a look at the sites where the ads are actually displaying in their reports. If you're not sending them traffic that converts (or they don't like your site for some reason) they will block their ads from showing up; the higher paying advertisers are particularly more likely to do this.

At least, *I* do it.
