Same here, using IE8. I was bumping it to 125% for awhile until I finally caved in and made the switch.
The new interface is not so bad, after all. The reports are now arranged so you'll see much of the same info from the old interface, plus a little more.

maybe your monitor has got bigger, making the words look smaller. or maybe your eyes have got smaller. it could be loads of things. maybe you've got your glasses on back to front

I notice that updating to FF5 changed a lot of fonts everywhere, usually making them smaller.

I use ie8 almost all of the time (99.9%) and the fonts are indeed miniscule. Using FF they are the normal size.
I think they're out to be mean to old folks!

Yeah my font size in the admin area is totally small now too (like my earnings - ha) and I need to change the text size just to read it. I guess I should switch to the new interface again.

Maybe they are making room for more info and just haven't provided it yet... not! :)
I do love browser ZOOM levels... try a few more CTRL+ clicks...

I see different font sizes on one ad. Top is the biggest and starts to get smaller on each row. Got to have something with bidding, whoever pays more gets the first spot with biggest fonts.
P.S. CTR is high today.

I have the same problem in IE8 since last week. Only in the old interface font size is very small since last week.
I also noticed this about two weeks ago. But then the font size was back to normal again after a couple of hours. (Until last week)
