I use Firefox as my main browser and twice today while logging into my Adsense account Windows Defender found a severe threat level virus called: Backdoor:Win32/IRCbot.dl. To verify I switched browsers to I.E. Again, as I was at the login page I got hit with a warning telling me an application on the page wanted to open Adobe Flash Player. I closed the dialogue box; login and the Flash Player wants to install again.
Anyone Else? I've done a full system scan on my system and that was the only virus detected.

If a full scan on your system detected it..then it is on your system..not the adsense login page.
How are you getting to the adsense login page ?
Typing it directly into a browser address bar ?
or clicking a link ( because if the latter ? ) then it might not be sending you where it claims to be .
And even if the former , if you have an unwanted house guest..they may be rerouting what you type into the address bar ..
What you are calling a virus is strictly speaking ( with that specific name [microsoft.com...] a "drive by" trojan )..your AV may well be "echoing" what it finds on your own machine ..and if so then the trojan is already talking to "home"..you may want to change lots of passwords, later ..when your machine is clean again.
Search for "Backdoor:Win32/IRCbot.dl" leave the quotes on ..
