For me, so far today 1st May, it has continued in the same vein of the past few days.

I've never experienced such bad endofmonthitis before, here's hoping for a kick-start Monday or Tuesday or whenever anyone, asides from us lot, go back to work!

This has literally been the worst day in 3 years for me. Something is just not right...I'm crossing my fingers!

Since 2 days , I have seen a lot of Google Ads "Watch this space" or so.
This is the reason why my CTR and eCPM has dropped and is dropping.
No One is interested to click thus ads.
I don't know, how many URLs I have to block to get rid off these Google self promoting Ads?!

Here's my story...

Daily averages: May 2011 vs 7 years of pre-Panda earnings.

Traffic down 57%
Earnings down 69%
CTR down 59%

EPC up 67% (The only bright spot)

Still pays better than flipping burgers at a fast food joint though.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)

Well, I am busy integrating Clickbank links to my health site as well as few banners from Markethealth and trying to integrate them in a way it does not end up looking spammy. Hopefully in a a few months I can make enough each month from these new sources so I can start taking adsense fluctuations in my stride.

Never too early nowadays, in fact it's almost become compulsory:-)

we are 90% down in earnings with Adsense what on earth is going on? Who is getting all the traffic and money? If this continues I will have to go back to offline world and invest my time and energy there.

This is the worst earning I have since since last 7 years. Never ever I had such a day. Only when I started and had only one small site.

At scale we work this is crazy.

My blood pressure has gone amazingly high can hardly breath.

Yesterday was the worst I've seen since I've joined AdSense, Traffic was normal, yet only 2 clicks totaling 43 cents. Today traffic is lower (because of Mother's Day I assume) and so far only 2 clicks. I hope Monday is a major improvement, because this is beyond pathetic!

@ErnestHemingway,
Who is getting all the traffic and money?

I'm asking myself the same question.

Your AdSense earnings are way up in April-May? Anyone?

Well...It looks like it's time to hit the pavement for me...how depressing!

I made a whopping $16 yesterday...down from 3/yr average of $150+.

It looks like the good ol' days are over folks, as the Panda sh*t has just hit the fan :(

I'll give it a few more days though to see if this is just an giant "error" on the part of Google (......holding breath........................)

@MrFlex

My earnings were normal not to what I was hitting back in December but still only 3-4% down start of May I have been on decline, last 2 days 90% down in earnings.

CTR has pretty much diminished.

My Adsense was very good in April. I would say it was one of the best months for some time, but May is undoing all the good work of April. If by end of tomorrow (Monday), the figures do not return to normal, I am going to remove the adsense for a day and then put the code back up again and see if that does the trick. I know this is clutching at straws, but something has to be done.

@Automotive site, let us know the outcome of you do remove the ads for a day, then put then back. I have hrappled with a similar idea, yet worry things might get worse, but now I can't see how they could.

I sure will. I will keep the ads on Monday because the weekends are a little slow anyway and Monday would be better gauge to see if things are back to normal or not. Tuesday whole day the ads will be off (assuming things haven't returned to normal tomorrow). I hope for everyone's sakes here this is an error on Google's part and things are back to normal very very soon.

I'm gonna follow you on this Automotive...

If things are not back to normal tomorrow (Mon), I'll remove AdSense from a couple sites on Tuesday and reload on Wed.

I'll post my results here as well.

Google taking a bigger cut, but it's more likely the wealth is being spread to more AdSense users thinning out the profits.

My April was the best April ever. This month is on track to being the best month ever.

There are still plenty of users making good money with AdSense, it's just that the people getting punished are more likely to talk.

Sunday

Page Impressions 65%
Clicks 76% - Best CTR since first week of March
Earnings 79.5% - Solid EPC all day

What I find strange is that my average number of page views per visitor has fallen by 33% since whatever happened plus my non .com sites have, in the main, been getting more traffic than average.

Does this back-up the more smaller sites idea is better than one mega site? I have no answer as yet but they're definitely helping out at the moment.

Does anyone know how much publisher partner sites earned for Google last quarter or last financial year? I could look up but am sure someone here will know. What percentage of Google's overall revenue share is contributed by partner sites?

I don't think Google will take us lightly because we provide them a channel for them to have exposure on billions of web pages. They have to keep us on their side or as soon as a legitimate competitor(s) comes up, I am sure many disaffected publishers will flock to the rival(s).

I'm assuming AdSense is totally stuck today or I am seeing a near complete collapse across the board since we're 25% into an AdSense day and I haven't even reached 5% of average earnings yet and my eCPM is in the pennies.

There is one serious foul-up going on here, if there is anyone in charge at The Plex are they aware of what's happenning or are they all too scared of what they've done?

Tuesday looks like a good day to remove AdSense!
