So far, everyone I've seen with big SERP shakeups today was in the UK - dunno if that means anything, but it's just what I've seen.

I was just reading an article that suggested the new algorithm may adjust for bounce rates and, in turn, page loading speed. Any thoughts?

Speed may be a factor. Bounce rates - I don't think so. Too unreliable.

Insofar as I am concerned GG sorts it out this weekend otherwise they are gone from my properties come Monday. It's not an AdSense thing for me, it's the total GARBAGE results being served right now for my trade widgets. GOOGLE! I am NOT a helpline for your screw-ups...you just cannot comprehend how many calls I have had today asking what has happened. Doh!

@play_bach We were crushed yesterday 80% less revenue than all the other days, CTR gone down, impressions gone down. Search results are no good either.

I simply have to laugh at this pitiful manipulation by Google because it's impossible to take the results I am seeing as being serious. I've been doing quite a bit of research today and all day using 5 browsers plus tabs for comparisons. Bing has been giving me reasonably good results, DuckDuckGo has been giving me some great results, StartPage ok, even Blekko has been reasonable, oh but Google, it's a disaster, even when drilling down at times I couldn't find stuff. Today's earnings, as expected, have fallen off the cliff, CTR is fine but EPC is pathetic. At the moment, 16.00 BST, I have had 20% of my normal Page Impressions, 25% of clicks and 12.5% of earnings. Needless to say this is not impressive stuff whatsoever...far too much navel-gazing is going on at the Plex!

Perhaps the clicks that Google hasn't been accounting in the last few days (and I am almost pretty sure sure they haven't in my case, especially with one site that has seen earnings fall dramatically) will be made up for in the comings days with gradual click dumps. I am at least a good 50% down in number of clicks overall at this time of month to what I should be going by trends of last few months. My traffic is pretty much the same. My earnings have definitely not been impacted by traffic but rather a large drop in a combination of CTR, ecpm, adsense impressions. Funnily, yesterday saw a sudden jump in earnings very late on which made it a respectable day in the end - but still down significantly. I am just hoping the earnings will catch up over the coming days because I am 100% convinced I've not been fully credited.

I feel confident that clicks trickle in long after a day is done and here's why: I sometimes get clicks on ad units I removed as long as two weeks later!

My stats are stuck and CTR is 0. @Atomic, this is probably true...but I have also noticed that ads can remain in a repeat visitors cache for many weeks after they've been removed.

After what has happened with adsense since the start of May, I've decided that I am now going to diversify my income and not become overly reliant on them. I therefore decided to put up some Clickbank links on my health site (on about 7 pages) yesterday and the products are very closely related to the content of the pages (i.e. something the readers might be interested in). I decided to put the links at the bottom of the pages in quite a large font (the font size is about twice that of the content) so it stands out. I just logged into my Clickbank account and was surprised to see first sale made with commission worth $18. In fact that's the highest priced product I am promoting. The others range from $9 to $16. But the highest priced product is definitely the most attractive for my readers because its an online diagnostic test to see if they potentially suffer from a particular medical condition.

If our earnings are decimated does this mean that Google's are being hit as well or do we assume that the clicks go to other sites? That really doesn't make sense to me since many sites in my industry do not carry AdSense and checking the very strange sites that are ranking now many of those do not carry ads either therefore IF this V3 is widespread surely someone must have noticed?
