Traffic up this week on last, but I should really have qualified it by saying it was a 'mini' stumbleupon rippling over a few days, a traffic source which notoriously converts badly and so I discounted it as a factor which improved earnings.

I just got 1 more click. Wow, now I have 74 cents! That's 2 more cents then my eCPM! Worst day EVER.

I think there might be some kind of issues with Adsense. Half the time on certain pages, no ads even show up.

Observing the same phenomenon here. Apparently the Panda got loose and made it's way over to the Adsense corridor of the plex.

This is the worst day I have seen in years on any day with adsense and its not even traffic. Hopefully this is not going to keep up and its just a glitch. I might just have to start the farm back up (Oh ya the fields are drenched with water). Talk about no luck.

I'm not ready to throw in the AdSense towel just yet. Tuesday earnings were good, so they've still got me on the hook. Until something as good or better than AdSense comes along, I don't see an end point. My biggest challenge isn't AdSense anyway, it's getting more traffic.

My traffic is still down by 50% since April 11. It's difficult to believe that I used AdSense all these years and never experienced anything this drastic before.

Panda 1 was on February 24 and Panda 2 was on April 11. Some sites got hit by Panda 2 only, others got hit by both.

Traffic continues to climb month on month with this month being no exception. CTR is highly variable. The 4th was my worst day in a very long time - at one stage it looked as if I might go the whole day without a click. Crazy.
This came after making two slight changes for experimentation purposes - changing the colour of my URL and AdSense links very slightly, and turning off image ads (my stats show that the lion's share of clicks come through text ads).
Because of the changes I made there was a strong urge to press the panic button and revert my changes but the 5th then returned to almost normal. After making changes it's very difficult to assess if they made things better or not because there are so many other variables beyond my control.
I've given up thinking that AdSense will ever deliver a decent, reliable income stream. I've tried so many times and put in lots of effort but any progress I make always gets knocked back shortly afterwards. I'm forever running faster to stay still.
The time has come to just sit back and spend my time on other things. Occasionally - like March 2011 - AdSense will perform how I want it to but I must resist the temptation to jump in again because it will simply be another false dawn. There have been many.
I feel like a mouse being played with by the big Google cat.

Yesterday adsense impressions on my main site (health niche) was 20% of actual traffic (as measured by Statcounter and Google Analytics). Since the start of May income has fallen by more than half. Until yesterday, it was ctr and and ecpm that went down drastically, but yesterday saw the impressions down enormously while the ecpm returned to normal levels. CTR was higher than usual because the impressions were down so much.
And I can't account for it because I visited the site at least 10 times to check if ads were showing. And they were.
I can understand CTR and ECPM going down but not impressions, and that too around 80% down on normal daily levels.
How I wish there was an adsense competitor right now.
I can't go with Chitika because they don't show ads to UK traffic which for this site is the second highest after US and accounts for around 25% of the overall traffic.

Does anyone know if installing a firewall plugin in Wordpress can block ads from showing or working? But its definitely showing on my computer.

You can set up Chitika and choose to show an alternative ad (AdSense). In this case your visitors will see Chitika ads in supported countries (USA, Canada, etc...) and AdSense in all other countries.
Also, I noticed that Chitika inventory and targeting way better if you have Gold account (at least in my niche).

Thanks to some sort of Panda V3 being rolled out today my sites have been trashed, I have stuff missing all over the place including company names.
At the moment my actual clicks are 14% of my daily average and are at a snail's pace.
Oh well, don't expect to earn anything from my sites Google if you behave like this!
I'll give it until Monday for them to sort this out and if it's still the same, it will be the painless extraction of AdSense.

CTR is low as NEVER before.
eCPM is low as NEVER before.
Last 7 days - the worst week with AdSense since the beginning in 2005.
I just cannot explain why CTR is so low.
Ads look great and targeted very well for my content. Location for ads is perfect.
I even tried leaving just one AdSense block for one post but it didn't increase CTR at all. It feels like G not recording all clicks or they changed something so not all clicks are counted. Just a guess.
