| How to get Google Custom Search to work

Hello Webmasters, i'm hoping to find a solution to getting the Google custom search to start working.
I've copy pasted the code given but when I search for keywords that trigger my page on google's main search in my custom search box I get no results what so ever.
Any suggestions?

Have you set it up to just use pages from your site, or to use the whole web, or to use pages from specific sites?
Are the pages you are looking for actually indexed in Google yet?

Hi,
Thanks for your response, but weird enough got it resolved. I had to go to the cse page of google instead of from adwords and deleted all my previous attempts.
That did the trick as it picked up the sitemap from my webmaster account and indexed.
