Perhaps a little early, but it's now into the 2nd day of March here in the UK soo... the March 2011 AdSense thread.

Yesterday I had a pretty good day. The rebound I seen at the end of Feb thankfully continued. Long may it continue!

1 and 2 - not bad, but I hope for better figures.
Strange is that I see less clicks, but more money...

So my Febraury, despite all my naggings and complains ended up being great. The first of marc, as Mentat said, I am experiencing less click but higher cpc.

PS: Still waiting for the Google update to stabilize...

1st March back to pre-Thanksgiving levels, just a good solid average day.

So far this morning it looks like an updation delay, very little volume of anything.

It's been only two days, but it looks pretty good. Infact, the last 5 days of Feb. where good as well, ever since I switched to the default text/image ads on all ad units.

My cpc rate has halved today compared to yesterday so far without changing anything:-((

Almost near the end of the day and it's disheartening. Adsense has never been this buggy in the years I've been with them. I mean, there's volatile, and then senseless chaos, like something's broken. I'm trying out of few changes. We'll see. This particular site might be affected by the recent Google search algo change also.

30 minutes to go until the start of the new AdSense day. My 2nd was a day of two halves. It started off slooow with a much-below-average CTR. Then the CTR rebounded a bit (still ending below average though), but CPC was over double what it usually was ending in a better-than-average revenue day.

Which was odd, but I'm not complaining.

I have abandoned my websites since 1st week of november: doing nothing on them! funny thing, earnings not only have been stable, they slightly went up a little bit. Been very busy finishing other projects (combined with a end of the year boredom of trying with no luck) but now I'm motivated again.

I hope this is a trend :D

2nd March was another solid average day, that's two days for some of my sites which had been really suffering since end November seen to come back into their 2010 average EPC range.

Fingers crossed this is going to stick for me.

All advertisers from my end look the same.

Oooops...fallen off a cliff so far today, absolutely dire CTR and Page Impressions...is it stuck?

Today seems stuck to me as well...everything dropped.

Hmmm...I hope this has nothing to do with the contra-demotion algo and we get caught-up in something new!

One of my main site with adsense problems seems to be affected (-30% overnight drop in traffic since last week) and believe me, it's like a kick in teeth when you're already down.

Less clicks, more money.
The CPM Ads are really awesome these days.

Haven't been here in a while - I have a quick question - what is your average Page CTR (click-through rate) - percentage? - is it around 1% or 2% or more?...

I hope you can answer this as you not really sharing any info - as to how many pageviews etc..just the CTR percentage - also does anybody have general stats as to a good CTR & a bad CTR?...

Had a decent day yesterday. CTR and CPC was strong, but traffic took a bit of a dive. Hope it's just a blip and not due to an algo tweak or anything.

@martsd - It depends on a massive range of factors. Naturally a product-oriented site will tend to have visitors who'll click on ads more than a site about (e.g.) math help. Just as the location of the ad(s) are really important.

Anywhoo, my CTR tends to be 3-6%... somewhere in that sort of range. (Not a product-oriented site)

February my worst month since July last year after several months of good, steady growth. PIs dipped, as did CTR.

March, so far, my best start to any month EVER and if it continues in the same way throughout the entire month, March 2011 will surpass my best ever month by a very long way.

Average CPC the same, but PIs and CTR quite significantly up on February. As far as I know, it has nothing to do with anything I have done.

I'm going to go see a movie and then maybe after that, hit the pub. Time to get away from the computer for a few hours. :-|

EPC really really high. CTR really really low.

It is what it is.

It's akin to watching paint dry today, EPC fine, CTR and eCPM normal yet everything has seemed to be at least 2-3 hours behind all day.

Hopefully it'll catch up at some point resulting with good earnings.

Good month for me so far, best epc and cpc this year, however took a 30 percent hit on google traffic last week but overall days are actually higher money wise without that traffic. The only thing I can think of is it was non performing visits. Also whats weird is that I still have my normal keywords where they normally rank that I check regularly, so im not sure on what keywords were lost.

Bottom line: Ill take the money anytime over the traffic.

@tristanperry Thank you! - evidently I seem to be underperfoming in CTR area...as u said - many elements go into this - maybe placements - will tweak my websites and monitor.
