Phew...the last few days have just dragged me past December's earnings and the worst month of the recession, June 2009, and I may just beat July 2009 but certainly not May 2009, therefore it looks as though I'll be about 26% down on January 2010. Thanks for the pay cut G, absolutely what I asked for meanwhile you post record earnings and the US purportedly is doing well, very impressive all round!

Yesterday I saw pre-Thanksgiving numbers, however, today is extremely bad. So bad that yesterday is like it didn't even exists.

January was a great month for me, until friday. Since then, my eCPM is 35% lower and it hurts...

I said the worst day for yesterday. I was wrong, today is terrible. No hope at all for adsense

Things are still going south, aren't they? There is no hope for Adsense. February is a short month so paychecks will get shorter.. I'll might try to put code back slowly in a week or so to see if it reset. Been optimizing a lot lately too.

Been optimizing all month and now my traffic is at an all time high. I still can't buy a small coke and fries with today's income. Unless there's a click dump waiting to bestow me with a big surprise, this is the worst day ever.

My Jan 2011 is practically the same as December, but 20% better off w.r.t. Jan 2010. I hope that 2011 will continue to follow 2010 in going up my earnings, even slowly.

Traffic in normal levels, CTR about 10% higher than usual, eCPM and earnings are a complete joke. Actually no! i can't call them a joke 'cause then i'd have to laugh... What I'm wondering right now is when is G going to stop with this down trend? will they stop when they reach the same levels as all the other crapy ad netwroks around, or will they go even lower? hmmm.... this is the question....

14 february is coming. Maybe Larry and Sergey want to give very expensive gifts to their lovers :) or Sergey wants to left his apartment and then going to buy brand new big house. Yeah all of theese cost very much. I cannot think any other reason why our revenue is decreasing day by day. We are discussing this topic for months. I think I gave up. G always knows the best, always do the best. Best regards to you all, except G

For 4 years I could rely on a certain monthly base income from adsense. Come September 2010 and everything went downhill by 30% to 40% every month since. I do believe... (my theory only) that adsense has "smart priced" certain publishers either by traffic numbers or by eCPM averages across the board. Now even if your traffic is higher over the last few months... eCPM does not rise accordingly. Which makes me think that IBA and Third Party Ads are being offered at a discount rate to advertisers. The only up-side to this decline is that several advertisers have approached me directly... so I am ever so slightly in front for this month

Certainly yesterday was the worst day of this year, and today looks dismal. No hopes of scoring average. I only believe that the new Feb month would yield "consistent" income.

I would also like to point out that not only Adsense for Content took a nose dive this month but also AdSense for Content Host / Youtube so it's deffinitely not a website specifique thing that optimizations and tweaks can fix IMO (but I did took the time to tweak by site "just in case"). Looking at my stats, Adsense for Content and fo Content Host/Youtube channels have the same behaviour.

Actually, all I see is Google Chrome, Google Adwords voucher and the rest of the Google product ads placed on my main website. Usually the end of the month have been good, but January has been bitter. Very bitter.

Just checked again and Ad targeting on my site is spot-on lately (besides the annoying Chrome ads). I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that the CTR and CPC is so low.

Coming to the the end of a Googleday and end of the month already! Today's CTR has beeen stubbornly low throughout at almost -24% of the daily average BUT on the plus side totday's EPC has almost returned to pre-Thanksgiving levels. Interestingly these last three Mondays have seen my highest Page Impression days whereas it always used to be Tuesdays or Wednesdays!
