Horrible, horrible so far. But I usually get a click dump around noonish or oneish Google time. So I still have hope for today.
8:09 pm on Dec 1, 2010 (gmt 0)
Yeah, its looking a bit behind for me too. Hope it sorts itself out by the morning.
8:33 pm on Dec 1, 2010 (gmt 0)
impressions are ok, but CTR and eCPM are down again. i'm getting really bored with this stuff...
and this situation that's been going on for the last two months it's not a reporting lag, like everyone here seems to think it is... the money just isn't where it's supposed to be...
I had 50% more visitors in oct and in nov in comparison to sep, which is quite a lot, but the earnings are the same. how is it possible?
9:29 pm on Dec 1, 2010 (gmt 0)
yup it seems like its a reporting lag but the sad part is we never get that big click dump to give us the earnings we had 10 days ago. Overall the last 7 days have been terrible. Mostly ECPM and CTR.
Some sites the ads are relevant but others seems like there are no advertisers left in that niche. I'm sure some advertisers decreased adword spending right before Thanksgiving but its about time we see things improve.
9:32 pm on Dec 1, 2010 (gmt 0)
with the huge number of advertisers...and the "third party networks", it's impossible for all of them to disapear. this is just wishful thinking.
a big part of the problem is that targeting is down the drain, and I'm sure there are other parts too...

so bad so far
11:56 am on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
Wednesday's CTR was at the bottom end of my normal spread however EPC was ok but the main problem seems to be lack of traffic therefore clicks. I'm still on weekend traffic levels, I've had no return to normal traffic since Monday 22nd November.
Is it the weather? Certainly a lot of northern Europe is under a thick blanket of snow and watching the BBC World News last night there seemed to have been all kinds of storms etc in the eastern US.
Do I have that much traffic from the widget trade workplace? If so, fine, that's my target market although I am slightly surprised.
What does anyone else think?
12:34 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
I don't really think weather has nothing to do!
I'm in Brazil, my public is 90% local and since december the 1st things has changed from november.
The traffic down a little, revenue was down, but what I'm feeling is a kind of adsense updates lag, it's updating very slowly and values was down also, some weird adds was showing (I've been monitoring and blocking) I'm feeling sick with this!
5:44 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
our ecpm today 40% lower compared to yesterday. This is the lowest I've seen ever and hope its lagging.
If we get a click dump, ill let u guys know.
6:05 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
I'm dragging the bottom of the EPC barrel today, way below my normal spread and way off end November/December 2009 earnings' levels. I'm already guesstimating this will easily be my worst AdSense month of the year.
I'm also beginning to think that my trade's retired now until January since real business enquiries have all but dried up although we actually have a very healthy order book.
I can predict one thing with certainty...I haven't a clue what's happening!

Epic line of the day!
On topic: I was expecting this, I mean -- every month with 31 days have been acting up. My best earnings so far was made in September (30 days) and November (30 days).
Anyone else notice this?
8:53 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
Amazing, just a few hours later, a normal amount of clicks with some very nice EPC values and things are looking back to normal...for now!
9:16 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
I think perhaps the world is ending...
9:35 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
so far still so bad
9:40 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
HuskyPup, the same happens to me! Suddenly clicks and EPC was normalized! Better this way!

I'm really waiting anxiously for my turn :( This is horrible. I've been put under a curse since Thanksgiving.
11:42 pm on Dec 2, 2010 (gmt 0)
ours normalized a bit but still around 35% lower compared to October.
4:24 am on Dec 3, 2010 (gmt 0)
Same here. Very low eCPM after Thanksgiving but I'm wondering because my traffic are mostly from southeast asia where Thanksgiving is not observed. Glad I saw this thread coz I thought it's only me who is having problem with this. I'm also tweeking ad appearance and content, blocking and unblocking ads but still not much improvement.
5:04 am on Dec 3, 2010 (gmt 0)
I really can't complain. Earnings are going nowhere but up. Every day I beat a new record. G. has been good to me. It's crazy. Now, I know there is gonna be hell to pay in January when the party season is over. Google giveth, Google taketh away.
Anyway, I have been playing with placement targeting for a couple weeks now. That might be the reason for the super high EPC lately. Placement targeting doesn't show too many clicks (and those are $3+/click) but apparently it contributes at the auction block by raising the advertiser's CPC.

ours normalized a bit but still around 35% lower compared to October.
My Page Impressions are now ~20% down compared to Sept to Thanksgiving. Historically I do expect traffic to reduce running up to the Xmas period but nothing like this before however my metrics are showing the same trend as Google's...it looks as though my widgets are just flatlining right now.
Subconsciously I have now decided that December is going to be the only month this year where I am going to struggle to my minimum forecast therefore I'm going to stop wondering what has happened!
The GOOD news is that 2010 earnings surpassed 2009's earnings in about the third week of October therefore I'm well ahead:-)
Obviously this is a pause for breath before a storming 2011.

We seem to bounce all over the board. One day our eCPM is through the roof, the next day it is down, then up, then down.
Very strange. Historically our earnings have been very predictable. Now a days they seem to average out okay at the end of the month, but the daily roller coaster is all over the board.
4:20 pm on Dec 3, 2010 (gmt 0)
Many channels way behind today, big reporting delay.
4:50 pm on Dec 3, 2010 (gmt 0)
Mine haven't moved much for a few hours now.
8:46 pm on Dec 3, 2010 (gmt 0)
Horrible reporting delay. Way behind. I hope for a click dump soon! Very disheartening right now. But I remind myself that there are often click dumps, so . . .

Visitors are down from june, so the earnings too,
today it is worst. impressions as well as, ctr, ecpm, earnings every thing down.
7:39 am on Dec 4, 2010 (gmt 0)
@indias next no1: Are your site visitors are from india? I have 90% of my visitors are from india and I am having a steep downwards trend starting from sept end. Right now the things are totally down. :(
1:01 pm on Dec 5, 2010 (gmt 0)
Oh heck, Saturday's Page Impressions the same as last weekend however CTR down 21% which in turn led to earnings down by 21%.
Compared to 2010 average clicks were -35%, from 1st Nov yesterday's were -33%...AdSense seems to be sinking fast for me, it would seem a very big switch was flipped the weekend before Thanksgiving.
2:51 pm on Dec 5, 2010 (gmt 0)
Yesterday was ok for me. Today is down again. :(
