is it just a glitch or our revenue is being directed somewhere else?

Same here. CTR and eCPM only 60% of what they usually are, for 20,000 impressions (which is normal).

It wasn't really really horrible, but it was disappointing. It was on the lowest side of normal (what passes for "normal" in the last few months). I won't be happy if this trend continues, but it's just one day! Let's cross our fingers!

Yep, the earnings and clicks for Oct 6 are the lowest I've seen for many months - very low to usual. It seemed ok 1/2 way in to the day, so I've got no idea what happened in the last 12 hours - but impressions were fine.

Something strange happened yesterday night. Just managed to touch three figure mark for Oct 6, 95% of which are made yesterday (don't get confused, I'm at gmt+8 hrs)

Horrible day. Not only CTR was way low, earnings plummetted totally. (Ive been experiencing low earnings for over a month)(Latin American audience gets my site); but yesterday's earnings were really an insult.

There was definitely something wrong on Oct. 6. Our sites have enough visitors/clicks that we can say for sure that it was statistically significant. I hope that this is just a temporary issue that will be resolved.

Well, the beginning of October 7 is turning out to be very promising. (Don't know if it'll last, obviously.) But I feel more hopeful that it was a glitch that wasn't meant to last.

It looks like too many irrelevant Ads have crept into the top spots of the Ad units again. Unfortunately it took months for this to be corrected the last time. And before anyone suggests that the content of my pages needs to be focused to trigger the relevant ads, google's organic results love my pages and do a very good job of guessing what they are about. Why can't Microsoft offer us an alternative? Here we go again.

Good start yesterday ended up being significantly lower in eCPM and CTR with normal traffic. I'm assuming it's a statistical anomaly, or just delayed reporting and will be caught up eventually. that's my story and I'M STICKING TO IT!

I think someone at Google read the thread on how much revenue was up in September and they decided to dial it down a little.

I have to join in the chorus. After a spectacular Tuesday (highest so far for the last two years), our Wednesday saw normal pageviews but the lowest ECPM on a weekday ever. Thus, earnings was significantly lower than our other Wednesdays.

I had a normal day October 6. But today's starting pretty slowly, and I've noticed anecdotally that when "stats stuck" is reported on WebmasterWorld by a bunch of folks, if my stats aren't "stuck" that day, they are the next...
