Getting paid by Google for ads for Google
| 5:31 am on Jan 8, 2010 (gmt 0)|
Anyone know how much or if Google pays for ads that advertise www.google.com? I see them in adwords ads, e.g. for the Google phone.

unno, but my earnings have tanked since they appeared all over my site. They are, in my eyes, very spammy and I will probably block them.

Google competes just like any other advertiser.

They way they are loading up unrelated pages with the ads, they should be paying CPM, but they aren't. Blocked.

I already did. They were showing up network wide across all my websites. Totally unrelated to content.
I understand they have a new product and I understand they need to promote it. Doing so at my expense is bullshiit though.
Choke on it google. I've about had it with you anyway...

When you do block them, don't forget the other TLDs.
