Are Advertisers Opening Wallets and Spending Again? incrediBILL msg:4054031 10:29 pm on Jan 4, 2010 (gmt 0) AdSense picked up a little after Xmas, not quite back to what it was doing in November yet but it's still early, next week will be a real tell of how AdSense is going to play out in January.
However, my direct advertisers (non-AdSense) have really kicked it up a notch and they seem to be in a mood to spend money to make money.
Based on that alone, I'm thinking a similar turn around will happen, or is happening, in AdSense.
Perhaps my advertisers are looking for a more direct bang for their buck and bypassing AdWords/AdSense?
Hard to say, but there's definitely some spending going on!
Anyone else seeing a return of ad spending?

This is renewal season - every year this happens to my web space.
Too early to tell if we have a direct ad purchase recovery.

I'm increasing spend for some of my bigger clients (including outside of AdWords) I actually got two inquiries for direct ads on one of my own sites before I even had a chance to finish putting my ad package together, so that's probably a good sign. AND my AdSense is way up since the middle of last month. It's all looking good to me.
