Saturdays for me are normally poor to okay. Sunday is normally good with Monday being better.

But last weekend was a big surprise, Saturday was excellent (smashed my baseline), Sunday was poor (just hit the baseline) and monday was in line with Saturday.

FWIW yesterday was my best day since the second week of November, and today is starting out great...

My CTR has been quite low the past few days. I'm glad my traffic volume compensates. It's almost as if the mythical glass ceiling is at work.

I don't know what happened on Sunday but it's as though someone came along and ripped all my CTRs and EPCs to shreds...today's EPC is truly diabolical, down by 33% in comparison to the average since December 1st 2009.

Surely that cannot simply be the pubishers?

Is it the weather chaos in many places? Surely if people are staying at home from work they would be surfing more which ought to be good news?

My eCPM in the last week has gone from a consistent $2.00 avg to about $0.30. Today it is down to $0.06. My page impressions are correct, and I have no idea if my CTR is artificially low or actually low.

BUT, I have another site, on the same server but with a different adsense account, which is bringing in the big bucks.

Both English in US-based site.

I'm glad I found this thread, because the site that is not performing, is the one that I just added Adsense For Search, and thought that might have something to do with it. The drop was coincidental with the addition of that.

With the snow days we've been having recently my hits have doubled across my portfolio but of course, as always, CTR has crashed right down so it's pretty much averaging out.

I feel is that google is holding the stats for few hours or sometimes even 1 day, then they dump the clicks or earnings in the next day stats.
So many times I experience one day down, suddenly next day up by 30-40% and most of the time it average out. But overall comparing to larger period of YOY its going down.

10.300 page view: $1.59. Normally would be around $20-25. #*$!?

Hmmm isn't it interesting that every few days we get a "stats stuck" thread?

I know for some people this is very real and has great personal impact.

For me? After 6+ years I simply go with the flow.

One thing for certain, there is absolutely NOTHING I can do to alter events.

Wow! Has your CTR remained constant? if so, this looks like smartpricing.

I'm used to slow starts but most days the CPM rebounds in the late afternoon or early evening with a big click dump. It hasn't yet happened though - CPM down 40% or so today. C'mon Google, have a coffee and gimme a dump!

I'm now more than 3/4 less than my usual earnings. Started a few months ago. HUGE paycut... I am doing everything I can to find other ways to make more income on my sites.

You can't change it, so move on. The stats stuck threads make no sense. You really can't change it. Write a letter to Google and complain about it or I think ASA is around, send him a private message.

Looks like it. There is announcement for maintenance (in adsense control panel) on Sat 09 jan.

I informed Sergey that my earnings weren't enough this week and if I could please have HuskyPup's portion (earnings) for one week. He said okay... so that's what the maintenance is for. I'm looking forward to a very good week indeed next week.

If you have 50% of what's happening this week you'll be very disappointed :-(

Whomsoever mucked up the dials last weekend wants a seriously good thrashing! And that's putting it politely...they obviously came back with a monstrous New Year's Day hangover and decided that most of the rest of us should suffer with them.

January is one of my lower months normally, so I was not expecting the stellar performance of the past several months, however, my CTR and eCPM is about half of what I normally get. Traffic is down also, but that is expected in January in my niche.

Seems funny that a maintenance is coming up right when this is happening, but may not mean anything because for all of us complaining about our earnings, there are those making better earnings, so who knows?

@WolfLover - It's been the brick wall effect after a reasonably stable earnings' period (for me). Why on Sunday did everything suddenly take a massive dive?

From December 25th until January 2nd my CTR and eCPM did not vary by more than 10% yet since January 3rd it's been a downhill roller coaster with my eCPM today at nearly 33% of the Xmas and New Year period.

My traffic looks normal, my ads look normal however my EPC average has drastically fallen as well (just over 20%) which does partially explain the fall in eCPM.

There's been a hungover dial twiddler in the plex:-)
