Tuesday 24th November 2009 - Stats Stuck Or Is That It Until Next Week?

Yesterday my EPC was down 20% and today it's down at least ANOTHER 15% plus my CTR and eCPM are easily the month's lowest.

So, does someone need to give that Google boiler a big thump with a hefty sledgehammer or are we doomed until after these US holidays?

Don't thump it, it's paying out well atm.

B & M business is fantastic...AdSense has died for me yesterday and today from east to west.

I'd write off the rest of the week if I were you--don't check your stats, it will just stress you out.

Here is how Thanksgiving week plays out in the US:

Tuesday: Get ready to travel or cook

Wednesday: Travel or cook

Thursday: Eat, revisit old family traumas, watch football

Friday: Shop

Saturday: Shop, then watch football

Sunday: Go to church, then watch football

See you on Monday!

purplecape - Just checked earnings from 2004, obviously the Thursday is low however the rest of the period my earnings have been surprisingly good, the Xmas couple of weeks is always my biggest downer of the year.

Well, maybe I exaggerated a bit for effect!

Christmas is definitely worse--after all, that's not just a US holiday.

Rubbish figures today. Absolutely dire! It seems to be some weird US Thanksgiving effect eventhough we in Europe do not celebrate Thanksgiving. Are all the Adsense people off celebrating Thanksgiving or something? Has the hamster powering the Adsense generator wheel worn out?

Hamster? You reckon it's that powerful?

Clicks have definitely picked-up for me, almost enough to call it a click dump however the EPC is still way under average. Tuesdays are usually my best day of the week, this one doesn't look as though it has a chance of getting to even an average day.

Wow,, started off good them BAM down the crapper.

I looked at Google trends for one of my niches and no chance for me until after the new year it looks like.

It's not just our US-Websites (they suck for the last 3 days), it started to affect even our German-Websites.

Page Impressions updating however NO clicks whatsoever...must be last month's cheque being printed with all those .00s on it!

Guys you have no idea how relieved I am to find myself in good company here. My earnings were so good till yesterday and today I though I was dreaming! Now I'm in the crapper.

We are taking a big hit this week too. Yesterday down 20%, and today down even more. Good to see I'm not alone... =)

Hopefully it is just a holiday fluctuation...

It is not a holiday here Maximillianos,
That's why it is so infuriating to see US holiday earnings on non-US websites with a primarily non-US audience.

Just got a click dump which turned my mediocre day into an average one. Me thinks this is it for November... expecting a bad day tomorrow.

November has been great for me with a number of records smashed. Beat my best day ever 3 times this month, as well as the best month ever in over 4 years.

Sorry to hear that you guys are not doing well at present. But don't worry as there will be a time when you are doing well, and i'm not.

It's all swings and roundabouts.

Phew...a very nice 100% click dump in the wee small hours brought everything back to normal for me...that was one heck of a delay!

Today we're down approx $100 today compared to this time last month and months prior.

If you're making $101/day, that's a big drop. If you're making $1000/day, not so much. See where I'm going with this? Absolute figures means nothing.

Considering what day it is in the US I am seeing a very strong CTR and slightly above average EPC...if it continues this way it bodes to be excellent :-)
