Friend Connect may have a negative impact such as we have noticed with many disabled account holders whom started new sites and with word of mouth told their family members and friends about their new site with Adsense. And before they knew it, the friends started to click on advertisements thinking they were helping and sooner than later most of these publishers found themselves banned from Adsense Even though Adsene Message panes shows this message to learn more about Friend Connect in connection with Adsense but in my opinion its a double edged sword that can cut your Adsense account into pieces and you won't find a glue to put it back together

What Friend Connect has to do with 'friends' actually hammering your ads is beyond me. I use friend connect on one of my otherwise static html sites. It's fast and easy and ads commenting options that otherwise would require more programming. Didn't use the personalization options. But it's brand new, so maybe later.

"What Friend Connect has to do with 'friends' actually hammering your ads is beyond me." If you are notifying your existing inner circles about your site through Friend Connect thus the invitation will likely to bring in people from the circle you know. As I stated many people do have friends that while visiting their friend's site opt to think it would help him/her with just a click on an ad

Friend Connect breaks the back button in IE when embedding any gadgets on your page. Say you have three gadgets on a page; you'll have to hit the browser button 3 times to leave the page. In my opinion, this makes GFC completely unusable.
