Where can I see a preview of the sizes 'small', 'medium' and 'large'?

That's great. We often hear that people want into the premium adsense program so that can customize font size. I can see the options of small, medium and large. Will the font size impact the number of units in an ad?

Good stuff. Does it work with the old Adsense script code? Is there a parameter we can use? Thanks!

These little bells and whistles are appreciated, ASA! But what we all want (and can't have) is ANY FONT WE LIKE at any size we can program, in every browser out there and... ... we'll never be satisfied. But these changes are immense, and thank you. It will make a difference.

Yes! I knew they would do it, just have to keep at it. Now just to be able to set the number of ads per text ads per adblock. Give me that one and I will shut up.

the font style changes they made a while back never seemed to work for me. hope these font size changes are not going to more of the same. i set my preferred font style correctly, but it still carries on changing in the ads. i often see times new roman, verdana, arial... the whole lot. maybe ASA can confirm whether the style and sizes are actually supposed to stick to what you set them as, or if there's a bug.

good! a step in the right direction. should help fighting banner blindness and boost ctr. i've immediately chosen the biggest font. well, it's not that big, but fits my other text apart from the line height, which obviously can't be altered. what i've noticed is that the preview ad in the control panel doesn't change if you select the different font sizes. maybe you should fix that. what's next? a transparent background would be awesome.

What I would like is to be able to set it to use the default font size for the user's browser (plus or minus a percentage would be nice) and the font used on the page (e.g. the font-familly I applied to the body). That would make it easy to keep looking consistent. The large font size is a big step and certainly looks much better on my site. [edited by: graeme_p at 12:51 pm (utc) on June 18, 2009]

We updated our font size across the board to medium. So far we have seen a 50% CTR increase across the board. Not bad! The smaller size was always very difficult to read in some ad formats. Well done Google. Hoping it is not just a coincidence.

I'm curious about ad manager too - I'd have a ton of ad units to update otherwise. I haven't looked at it yet - does it apply to link units? In a perfect world, we could set default settings by site and/or ad size. Not that I'm not grateful, I am. But ... just sayin...

You can set font size on your whole ad units. And yes, it also applies to link units.

Yes, with one simple little choice, I went to Ad Manager and changed my default font size to LARGE and it changed it on all my sites. Quick and easy! Let's hope the larger font gets more Click Throughs!

BTW, font size apparently won't change if you are showing the max number of ads in your unit. In case you set large fonts: If your unit is showing (3 ads of 4) it will show large font size. IF your unit is showing 4 of 4, then, normal font size.
