I guess our suggestions for better communication has finally penetrated the Plex. Their official blog just announced the Email Notification Preferences where you can select the types of messages you'd like to receive from them -- webinar announcements, event notifications and even personalized suggestions.
Of course, it's one thing to provide your preferences, and another to actually receive anything

Yup. These new email notification preferences were created in response to feedback from you guys that we haven't been giving you enough opportunities to hear from us. Until now, you've all been limited in the kinds and formats of information you could sign up to receive by email, so we wanted to give you more options and better control over the email offers you get from us.
If you sign up for all the new categories, you'll be eligible for all kinds of great stuff that I probably shouldn't give too many details on yet. :)

... and your response is to offer to email us new things?!?!?!
I'm sorry to whine, but this doesn't fit into the category of 'constructive listening' :( Fine, offer to send us extra junk mail - who knows, some people might like it - but please offer the option of viewing it through the console!

OK, the new email notification preferences are now live in publishers accounts!
You'll see a message the next time you log into your account asking you to select your new preferences.
I worked on this feature personally, so I'm willing to answer any email-preferences-related questions in exchange for praise I can show my boss. (I'm kidding of course, but I am happy to answer questions.)
