This is so Sad!
My streak is about to be broken

This is sad! Not sure if I can blame it on the bad economy and the financial crisis, or just Adsense in general, but it doesn't matter. I do know that my website still gets the same amount of visitors, in fact more, since we have added a few more sections lately.

Anyway, here is what is sad: I have been with Google Adsense since March 2005, and never have I not reached the minimum $100 to get paid monthly. There was times when I barely passed $100, but I still made it.

This month, looks like this streak of some 42 months of getting paid monthly, will be broken, unless a miracle happens from today till the end of the month (I haven't even reached $70 yet)

I need to make some $30 at least in the next 4 days to keep my streak alive, which I think is impossible.

Records are there to be broken I guess, but in this case it is a negative one!

By the way, if you are wondering what my monthly average is, it hovers around $150-200.

The only good news I can take from this, is that my payment for February will be a big one (combining November and December) :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Adsensing everyone!

Hey, I'm there too. We've talked about the trends of the end of the year... being that said I can recommend you to search for some old content...

I've had some bad months too, but I did a test. I changed the content of the front page for that old content that proves to attract visitors (it makes little sense, I know) but it works.

As for me this time, its the end of the year normal trend...

Asas111,

you've clearly had your website for several years. Maybe the ideas have dried up recently? Have you experimented recently with new ad formats and positioning? If that means altering the presentation of content to allow for new ad formats then it's worth the effort.

Good luck.
