I've been finding an odd error in my website logs this week. I've had 144 failed requests to /doubleclick/dartiframe.html with the referrer pagead2.googlesyndication. com/pagead/ads (I've broken the URL for posting on the forum).

I've done a little research and dartiframe seems to be a file you would install if you were using doubleclick and wanted media ads to break out of their iframe. See [webmasterworld.com...]

The error in the logs is very long and includes a lot of ad parameters including my pubID. Request IPs generally in the USA.

Has anyone else seen this? My guess is Adsense is serving doubleclick ads without removing the expand function. I don't wish to contact Google in case I confuse them, and earnings don't appear to be affected, so posting here to see what you guys think instead.

Sorry hyperkik, I missed your response there. But you'll be able to help me now I have further info:

My errors went away after a week or so, but were you using the old adsense code rather than the new stuff that you can modify in the adsense control panel and that allows adsense more freedom?

I've switched to the new code and I'm now getting flash ads. Some of them are nice. Others...... The issue was surely to do with doubleclick integration intended for the new code not working with the old code.
